Here is what I've noticed to this point about 60 turns into the game, started fresh for Beta 5 patch 2 [0.82.4.0]. In the custom race screen in the Personality section the character traits cut off... Still having issues with surprise pirate attacks, in anomalies. Artocarpus Viriles trade resource still doesn't have an image. Thanks,<

Is there a limit on number of entries?
trumpeter87, I added them to the folder while in game, if you do this, they don't work, you have to restart the game to get them to show up, that was my problem.

You have the right idea, there is no opt-in patch available at this time, Beta 5 patch 2 is expected to be available as an opt-in sometime this week.
I am a custom race, trading the Altarians for the Targeting Support technology. Whenever I attempt to add this to the trade offer it causes the game to crash. I have traded for all other technologies just fine. This may be an instance where that technology has no home in my tech tree, however, I don't know that for sure. Ticket ID<
Watched it, loved it. I apologize to Kristin as I have no audio, as I normally watch it at work on Friday's and can't have the audio up, so I couldn't answer her question to me. Paul did answer the question though as I was referring to the Steam Workshop, sharing races/ships/logos/portraits ect. between players. Thanks again for all your hard work :)
One I haven't seen before, if you are creating a custom race picture/portrait/logo you have to create unique names for each file even though in different folders. Priorities are as follows... Custom Race Portrait takes priority. Custom Race Picture is second (Will display the portrait if has same name, at least in the selection menu.) Custom Race Icon is last. (Will display the portrait as the icon if has the same name in the selection menu.) &n

It reset's every time you update your game, so if you just updated to beta 5 patch 1 it may play again and make you change the setting, personally I haven't messed with it and don't plan to until gold. :)
