So, if I buy a cable package that says I can "watch over 100 channels," I emphatically do not expect to have to make up all the content on every channel for myself, and it I certainly do not expect to have to rely on crowd-sourcing to make a feature work.
Not a true comparison, one can not add or think about adding channels to their cable or sat provider. More of a comparison would be like purchasing a roku
They should not advertise a feature and then depend on crowd-sourcing to fulfill the "promise." Or, they should have made it more clear that a significant portion of the game was going to be crowd-sourced. If they are going to do that anyway, the very least they could do is provide us with a few new factions, especially ones they have already more than half created for DLC. I should not have to spend months (lit
I enjoyed the economics system in GalCiv II more than GalCiv III. It just seems in GalCiv III if you don't build a map full of economic starbases you find yourself behind as it's needed to boost your output on every aspect of the game. Hopefully i

I feel that's it's constructor based more than anything because by building economic starbases around a planet one can increase production on a planet by as much as 700% in Manufacturing, Research and Economic... If instead they increased the amount that each building did and cut that down by a factor of 7 it wouldn't be as needed.

When I quoted the extras that the founders received that haven't been released, I was referring to the two DLC's that the founders received tha

The ticket included more save game examples as well as more detailed information on when it was crashing each time so hopefully they can eventually fix the issue.
What is interesting Seilore is that the pre-release or early access versions of games have hurt the developer MORE than helped. Look at the beating GCIII took? Look at us founders getting laughed at for the price we paid for access to Alpha and Beta? While I have good faith that Stardock produces a good product, how many games have we seen that are the SAME in early access as they are upon release? Early access whi

Yes I agree the habitable or abundant system is broken. I started a map on huge with all abundant and was surprised that the map was maxed out stars right next to each other very little if any gaps and clusters of habitable planets. Then I switched to Gigantic, huge holes, star upon star of class 0 planets and not at all what anyone thinks of abundant. Yet, this has been a topic of discussion since the alpha and beta process and it is as it is. They don't intend
Please put the restart map command into GC3 (that was in GC2 as "ctrl+n"). I found a couple of threads on this that were locked that I couldn't necro, including one where Frogboy said he wanted it too and it was "on the list" and that was back in 2015. As a player you can quit to main menu and do a quick start so it can't be all that hard to automate that in code to cut down on hassle for the player. Giv
Honest question: was this game released too early?
Biased Answer: Yes, however, I feel 95% of modern games are released too early and mainly because of the direction modern technology has forced it to go. If you go back to 2000-2005 most games were purchased in a retail environment and therefore one had to make sure the game was stable and put on a hard copy. You didn't want to put a bug filled crash

All resource mining works as follows... Mining Starbase is mining 1 Durantium resource, this produces 1 Durantium resource for player to use or trade. This resource is not cumulative over time meaning if you are mining 1 you only have 1 to use until it's gone it does not add up. Think of it this way, I'm building a durantium ship component but, to keep it working it costs that 1 durantium resource per turn to keep it working. The good thing ab
