would it be possible to add a merc that gives benev and pragmatic ideology points?

I mostly use them for protecting relics or ascension crystals. Haven't seem too much of a bonus to using them yet. Near enemy planets I like to drop a culture starbase (preferably with lots of planets in ZoC) and watch the culture flips happen. Especially the enemy I am silently at war with. Hope there are more users for them though. Would be nice to find a good use for them.
Do it right, release when ready or need some testing ;)
It has the files edited and the lines that were changed. If you are using an editor that has line numbers such as Notepad++ it should be all you need. Infact, NP++ is perfect for viewing this type of file anyway.
Research Node was changed from 8 to 4 Others have percentage changes from something like 75% down to 15%. The Military Precursor Fabricator went from a 100% bonus to 20%

I might be able to provide a changelog from 2.71 to yesterday. Well, I should say a patch file from git. Should show all changes made to everything .
It was 1.0 prior to an update today. I have all the game files setup locally in git so I can watch the changes as they show up in each release. Makes it easy to know what I want to mod back.
Looks like an update today.
I found an issue with Super Shark. The Pragmatic bonus value for food is incorrect. Should be 50%, actual is -10%
What fixed it?
Based on the machine specs I am pretty sure it has enough ram general Patton. If other games are running fine the problem is probably elsewhere. How much RAM does the laptop have? 16? 32? Did this happen before the last major windows 10 update? One thing about this style game v others you might play. 4X and other simulation games are not graphics hogs. Primarily they are CPU and RAM hogs as they have A LOT more information to process than your typical RTS or FPS game. As such they ca
DLC 7 is Lost Treasues which includes a number of precusor items
So looking over a lot of the changes (being a programmer has its perks and so does git) One of the big ones I see is the Fusion Plant cost tripled. Not sure they will be worth it anymore except for the hub bonus... but even that isn't much considering...
That's possible, I like the really big maps. But may also have something to do with the amount of modded files too. Use GRM and GIM plus a few of my own fixed items.
I have, but I also have a lot running in the background.. though GC3 normally only uses between 4-6 gig of ram. I'm on an 8 core 16GB ram rig with a GFX 960 Saving gets sluggish and will sometimes cause UI issues with the ship/planet panel oh so slowly rendering. And they may have nerfed DLC 7 but yet again they have NOT nerfed the original text to match.
I know the removed megopolis was a flat +1 to pop cap while the std city is +10%. That didn't make sense at all... but unless you plan on making a planet a farming community it no longer makes sense to use the +pop tiles for farming only. Farms improve by .1 per level now instead of +1 per level. Not sure if that will change again post 2.71
The last two images aren't showing up. Clicking on them is giving a 503 error
Iv'e seen the pirates colonize and some pirates just sit there doing nothing. Even been attacked by one of the pirate survey ships.
any source code?
That was correct last time I played a silicon race.
Nice ideas, sounds like it fits well with GRM
blowing the empires budget on a high end merc works, especially one that can kill large hulls all day long. Had one game I was attacked by drengin and another race. One wanted me dead while the other just harassed me for awhile. If it was for my merc I would have lost the few planets I had at the time. In most new games I start, if I have more than 3 civs within 2 star systems distance I restart. It might make for an interesting game, but I don't want to spend the first 150 fighting for survi
It might be pointless when you plop it, but not if you still have unused terraforming improvements
Yep, pop cap is now a maximum of the planet class which will really suck for synthetics.
