One reply = " there's a market for this!" You're always entertaining, marigoldran. [e digicons][/e] However, I admit there is a lot about this game I don't like, and it's painful because there's so much about the game I do like. I haven't played very much since 1.0 released. I could deal with silliness and blatant imbalances in beta, but I feel lik

Anyone else having issues loading new saved games? Played about 25 turns with 1.2 saved a few different times. Went back, tried loading each of the saves but each one gets stuck on the loading screen.

I for one, would gladly pay for an expanded AI DLC, alnog the lines of Naselus' expanded scripts suggestion, but I honestly will not buy the Mega Events DLC until it is less than a buck, or some mod that I like requires it. Also, there is no way in hell I would've ever willingly paid for the ability to export to 3D printer, that was simply a terrible waste of time.
Europa Universalis 4 is CRUSHING its competitors on Meta-critic. Perhaps I will switch to it.
Its a great game. Hefty learning curve if you've never played a Paradox game, but to me the AI is very fun to play against and will flatten you if you have a bad strategy.

Customizable governors. Research governor, manufacturing governor, etc. That will build out the planet with particular mindset. Also, ability to set "must have" improvements no matter the governor type, i.e. Colonial Hospital, specific number of farms, etc.

Similar to how Paradox handles it would be nice. This way mods could be loaded in a specific order so when preferred one mode couls supercede another installed mod. I think this would help tremendously as more and more mods that encompass large parts of the game are developed. Any chance for this in the future?
Perhaps its because modding support will be more feature complete for that release. You know, unique ship styles and all that. I suspect there's some, uh... what's the word for it, new car smell or trendy appeal to workshop too, because its widely known. People are kind of like sheep like that at times, especially the young impressionable.
Th
Fook this. I've gone through well over 100 CTDs and havent been able to pin it down. The only thing I know for certain, is loading a template and then saving it (without any modules), will cause a CTD even on Stardock's models. My game is over, out with the mod. Sorry, I give up. Obviously not everyone is having this problem. Three points: 1) I am running steam
I infact already did that, as I preferred my custom Terran Race, but wanted his models. I am not using his designs, only the templates. The Galaxy and the Intrepid are crashing everytime I mount weapons underneath as well. The only one I have yet to find many problems with is the Constitution Refit model.
Wow, the Sovereign is just borked. I can't add weapons even on the outter edge hardpoints, let alone anywhere underneath. I had a few problems with the Consitution Refit model, but nothing like this. I'm gonna have to use Jean Luc's bucket of bolts....
