Thanks for the mod. I definitely enjoyed, up until the GC3 1.2 patch. Now I cannot load any saved games. I'm searching around and trying to find the issue and will post if I get additional info.

Thanks for the response Franco. It is actually an Arcean Empire mod from Steam Workshop that is causing the problem. I just don't know what part is causing the problem, though I think it may be in the custom techs.
v1.2 I can start a new game with a particular modded faction with no issue, but every time I try to load a save where I've played with that faction it gets stuck on the loading screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just an FYI, seems like something else is preventing loading saved games. I keep getting stuck on the loading screen. Will spend sometime today and tomorrow evening checking to see if I can figure out any specifics.

Anyone else having issues loading new saved games? Played about 25 turns with 1.2 saved a few different times. Went back, tried loading each of the saves but each one gets stuck on the loading screen.
I for one, would gladly pay for an expanded AI DLC, alnog the lines of Naselus' expanded scripts suggestion, but I honestly will not buy the Mega Events DLC until it is less than a buck, or some mod that I like requires it. Also, there is no way in hell I would've ever willingly paid for the ability to export to 3D printer, that was simply a terrible waste of time.

What about Paradox titles like Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, etc? Their AIs seem to be very good a reacting to players, building effecting unit groups, and strategic planning.

Customizable governors. Research governor, manufacturing governor, etc. That will build out the planet with particular mindset. Also, ability to set "must have" improvements no matter the governor type, i.e. Colonial Hospital, specific number of farms, etc.
Similar to how Paradox handles it would be nice. This way mods could be loaded in a specific order so when preferred one mode couls supercede another installed mod. I think this would help tremendously as more and more mods that encompass large parts of the game are developed. Any chance for this in the future?

I don't understand why many people post, they are waiting for Mod Workshop before either publishing their mods or trying more mods. I feel like I am missing something. Would someone mind providing me their thoughts?
Why not just change the tech requirement for one of the drone modules?
1. Map editor 2. Same as TurielD's request for either more forum feedback from devs or more documentation/instructions on modding 3. Mod folder support for Schema, Enums specifically 4. Espionage 5. Intuitive tech tree editor, either via program or Excel files
