Star bases can build modules. Hard to describe in a post really. You click on it and you should see a list of things you can build assuming you have the tech and at least one constructor is docked at the initial station. another way to put it is that you dock the constructors at the station then look at the details of the station to build modules but you also have to have techs researched to where modules are actually available.
Windows 8. AMD FX 8 core 8320 3.51GHZ, 8Gigs RAM, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2gig GDDR5 But I am crashing all the time. Same issues others are having.
I tried it with no auto save and it still immediately crashes so I was wrong in it effecting it. It is when transporter is in que. At least for me. Every time. Same with trying to build a star base in enemy territory though I think I did it once before with success.
I tried rebooting as well and pretty much every time I try to build a transport it will crash. I'm entering the War Time era. A fresh reboot with nothing else running doesn't fix it. It's actually corresponding with the auto save intervals during the transport build. If I don't build it then it moves on. I changed the auto save interval which effects when it crashes. So a little trial and error paid off. Now I may try extending it to a huge am
I played for nearly 4 hours without it crashing and now it's just crashing all the time with specific actions which is trying to build a transporter and trying to set up a space station in enemy territory. Both actions stall/crash the game every time. I cannot create transports so I can't win a game. I also made the point that the planet info should come up upon clicking on the planet to make it easier to launch ships and stuff and someone in another post said it does th
I say research all four lines at once because progress feels really slow and here on real Earth we don't research one thing at a time. It feels like it may make more sense. Then again I could choose faster research. It seems like it may be more fun to have more than one going at once.
Playing it now and I agree with pretty much everything you've stated and I will make my comments later as well. I have a lot of comments regarding text fonts and vertical spacing. I am a graphic designer, 3d artist and web developer by trade which includes typography skills so I can give some good feedback there. I'm playing at max HD 1920 x 1080 and the font kind of gets hard to read. More vertical spacing is needed in some areas for an easier read. Anoth
I would name my star after my ex-wife but then it would have to be a gas giant!
That's a good one :-)
Yeah I didn't know how to title it. I'm sure this was brought up already and I didn't see it. I would really like the ability to select random for individual slots instead of all random or all picked. I want to be able to set up a session where I can pick a few races I want in and then have 2 or 3 that are random. On of the picks couls simply be random.
You are mostly water. I have a quote ready from Star Trek NG but people may think I'm being mean. Seriously not too many people will care what they are made up of. They are made of pixels and great imagination. Enough for me.
What if you don't want to play it with a keyboard and mouse? What if you want to play it without being connected to a power source to save money. Oh come on. I do agree with wanting to not be tethered to the internet to be able to play every game, but this came about mostly to thwart Piracy (I assume). You won't be tethered to the Internet to play just as GalCiv 2 is now. I want a multiplayer without hackers.
Bentley's something or other after my grandparents family name. Unless I come up with something else.
