Windows 10 & Object Desktop Manager problems heads up in Personal Computing Stardock Forums

I run Windows prerelease software. I haven't been running many of my Stardock apps because of issues with my video setup and online MMO games but I do run Start 10. After being away for several years (mostly through Windows 8 and then into 10) I'm back. I'd been using Classical Shell which has been discontinued so decided to look at Stardock again. I had two options for Object Desktop from my old install - Object Desktop Ultimate and Object Desktop Upgrade from Stand Alone. They were both $19.99 to renew so I kinda closed my eyes and picked. Looking for an old time Christmas theme in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Every couple years I decide I want to run a particular theme, and every time I try to find it in the tons of old downloads and customizations I can't find it. It is a Christmas/Yule type thing. A branch and Christmas ornaments. I spend hours exploring them and moving them around to get them just right. I usually have a candle thing as well that plays music. THAT WORKED! I found the cache (C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache) Deleted the Fishy and Kuma caches and they worked. At least for a while anyway. I got things in that cache folder dated 2012.

So, it goes like this, I'm poking around and organizing every Stardock file and assorted customizations (most somebody else's) into one directory on the portable backup drive. There are files here probably 10 years old or more. As I snoop through I find Fishy, and his buddy Kumanomi. Much delighted and run them. Image display in DeskScapes WinCustomize Forums

I am running Deskscapes 3.5 on Windows 7 with multiple monitors. I have the rotation time set fairly long so I can analyse the photos as I do other things. The photos have been custom sized (in my case 3,000 x 900) and one monitor is smaller than the other (smaller one, right hand side if that matters). Everything works absolutely great. Is there a way to advance to the next photo if I really am tired of looking at the current one? I don't even see a command for it if I am

It seems to be up today. My computer has been running somewhat like a hog but hubby's iPod and the other laptop were having the same issues. With both machines I cleared the cache and rebooted. The Win 8 machine was able to load the page, albeit slowly (even though SpeedNet said everything was as fast as usual) My computer didn't have any results from clearing the cache. Just today I was trying to look for a particular gadget and the pictures won't load. Not the ones on the side, or the ones in the grid. The forums load fine, as seems to any photo/graphic within them. Just the pictures of the things in the gallery itself. I suppose that there is a cache to dump someplace, but I don't know which. Once the server I was using caught a bug. One of those bugs from a hole in apache or php, I don't remember which. Every index.* was changed to be on that said something along the line of "surprise, you've been hacked". I spent days fixing index pages and looking for malicious redirects. Not so fun. I always worry about Facebook and Twitter that they might be victim of a leak like that, and who the heck is Linkedin anyway? I got an account but I'm not sure why.

The problem is, it doesn't do OSD on 64 bit games. I have tweaked it, lied to it, researched it. It runs on the 32 bit kinda. I think the "kinda" is because I haven't taken the time to actually get it placed right. And then there is the problem placing the text, but I'm sure that is because of screen size and video card. It's a good thing that in games I can usually shove the windows around, I think they all don't occupy that corner anymore. But I want to know "why" it is

Or more like, why can't I click on anything located in the lower right corner of my desktop? The area in question is in the lower right corner of the desktop, it doesn't seem to include the tray.
