That does not answer my question. My question was if the minor faction would retain their leader's name and if the minor faction would get the shipstyle. At no point did I ask if the minor faction was to be removed.
Snathi! I remember the old GCII days when I first encountered them and almost fell out my chair. Good times. Now then, I have a little question; will the coming DLC affect the existing Snathi minor race when installed? Galciv, like most 4x games, is not about balanced starts and equal footing for players, but working your way around the obstacles you encounter and finding solutions to disadvantages. However, I don't see why this wouldn't be able to change with a simple mod. Ask around to see if someone would like to help you with that.
Was way too expensive. They all saw him as a friend despite killing them off whenever their borders touched his. The AI didn't seem to understand the obvious pattern and just blamed me for causing an inconvience from being mauled by them.
So, I bought the mega-events DLC and had a lot of fun with it, well, except for one thing. The artifact. I think the main problem is how it activates, and how other factions react, aka not at all. When I played, it activated for a faction that wasn't too powerful, but not weak either. They were also located on the other side of the map, and all their neighbors were at good terms with them.
