Well, yeah, that's what it says now. You've obviously never worked in software development and had to present a pre-alpha feature list.
Well, I worked the last five years on a mod for TotA, and released the final 1.0 version a couple months ago. Along the way, I had to drop (and also added) several features. Does this count? [e digicons];)[/e]
Seriously, though, I

Could you please explain that?
They do need a specialised tech tree
It is already specialised for manufacturing and soldiering.
one could not have multiple prerequisite technologies lead to one or more techs.
You could, as long as you edited the tech tree via something other than the provide Tech Editor, like Notepad++. It looked horrible, because the UI wasn't designed for this, but it worked. I tested this during the development of my mod.
Not to flame you but why are you asking for a non-Steam version? Your asking for Stardock to spend probably significant effort on something that 99% of their users wouldn't utilize.
Not every Stardock-customer (or gamer in general) likes Steam, and would prefer to see an alternative. I'm one of them. Will I use Steam for this game? Yes, but only because I love this series and want to know how the story continues.
Anyway, all I am looking for at this point prior to pulling out my wallet is Stardock to say ... "Of course it will be multiplayer!"
Look at my post above. They already confirmed multiplayer.
I don't particularly care HOW it is implemented... I just want it to be there!
It's already been announced that GalCiv 3 will have multiplayer. From the Feature List : Multiplayer For the first time, players can compete against each other in person and over the Internet in Galactic Civilizations III. </
Thanks Frogboy. It's a pity about the Terror Stars, but we'll see what the expansion(s) will bring.
Best part of the trailer? Seeing the bottom half of a Thalan. I was always wondering how the rest of their, or of any of the other races, body would look like.
It is said here , that the Thalan destroyed the Terror Star, and that all design plans for it disappeared. Does that mean, that there will be no Terror Stars in GalCiv 3? It is mentioned here , that the Drath disappeared from their world. However, at the end of the first campaign mission in DA, it is made cle
