I'm pretty certain, that it was on the topic of tactical combat. After that, it's just a question of CTRL + F.
Lets say 3 tries per post.... Or do you have other suggestions?
I think that's okay. Though I probably only need one guess for DARCA's star name. It's most definitely "Sovereign". However, how do we determine whose turn it is? Do we always try to guess the star name of the poster who guessed the last one correctly? Also, what about hints? Should they be given automatically after a certai

Otherwise when you sent your ship to a location, it would disappear for a number of turns (weeks) and then reappear at the destination.
Why would the ships disappear? The lore doesn't say anything about the visual aspect of using of hyperdrive. However, even if it would make the ships disappear from "normal" space, because they are travelling through "folded" sp

Instead, the planets in those games worked similar to the cities in Civ (more so in MoO 2), but without the terrain and accompany

Paul Boyer mentioned in this podcast that there will be a tutorial campaign in addition to the main campaign (it's about 23:40 min. in). So, I guess we'll see the tutorial once they add the campaign, which, according to the last dev streams, is after beta 3.
So I really would love to lose a few sectors of my theoretical empire to something sadistically horrible, like a plague with no cure, massive civil war, 20+ civs declaring war, or ideology changing and people hate you, or all the above its all fine as long as it makes me cry out of frustration and fear.
Meh, sounds a bit weak. When writing the new tech trees, how much do you take the techs and the lore from the previous game into account? When you conquered a planet in TotA, all improvements, for which you didn't have the pre-requiste techs in your tech tree, got destroyed. Will this also be the case in GalCiv 3? Frogboy mentioned in an interview a while ago, that diplomacy will be more t

The devs have also talked about them a little in one of the live streams, but I don't remember which one. It probably was the second one, because that one was supposed to be about warfare, but I'm not certain.
This was the same behavior in GC 2 as well.
No, it wasn't. When an automated survey ship was moved outside of range due to a wormhole, it would plot a course to the nearest anomaly within range. The only time it would change that course on its own was, when somebody else got to that anomaly first.

They've probably been making the game for years now before they announced it formally.
