Hello, so I created a new ship and the icon for the ship on the left hand side of the screen is really small and when viewed in the designer it always starts zoomed out. Not game breaking but definitely a bug. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=426561287
Ok so this one is very simple, in GalCiv2 you could rush/buy ships on a payment plan, meaning it wasn't all a lump sum payment and it would be paid over time with interest. Can we please have this option/feature back? It brings up really interesting tradeoffs in terms of whether the interest payment is worth the time bonus from pumping out a ship earlier among other things. Also allows financing of fleet upgrades over time and brings in the idea of deficit spending.
Yes please!
Also can we please be able to edit custom player races once created? Its annoying to have them set in stone.
This is funny because I am a real "investment" player meaning I don't like building warships early on because that money could be going towards building far better stuff later, yet I have never been declared war on by any other civ while playing all my 4 beta games... wtf?
A good AI is one of the main reasons I played GalCiv II. Really and when I talk to others about the game its one of my main selling points. Looks like you are making good progress on it too, looking forward to seeing it in the next few patches!
I have the same problem with older saves, as stated above it might be a save issue, but I will test it when I go home and edit this comment to see if it persists in new saves.
Yeah I think weapon balancing needs to be a priority imo, also gal civ 2 at this point I feel did it better.
Great idea, you could also put modifiers on old races that have empires in a "state of decay" so that they are crumbling while new pioneering civs are rising up and starting their expansion.
Lol awkward you are right, and my custom race has that trait too :P
I agree with both of the above statements.
As far as I know there is no trait or ability that does that. However when you build farms they give bonuses to each other if adjacent and maybe the added bonus does not display on mt but does display on pop cap? That was my assumption when I ran into this in my game.
I have to agree I don't like the ideology system as currently implemented. 1. Some choices are insanely OP. 2. Its tied way to close to colonization. 3. I cant remember, will edit this later :P
Yea this is a problem with me to on beta 5.0 patch, the headers don't match the stats (but you can scroll over the stat and it will read correctly).
Ok another question: I bought the Steam version, not sure if it was founders (would of bought that if I knew!) or just the Beta access version, however how in the world do I link this purchase to my forum account? I don't get any key code through steam...
I also have been wondering about a simultaneous turn option, I think it would be good to implement for MP.
