Race Creation UI?

Stardock, is there going to be a new UI for custom race colours in the near future?

In GC2 there was a selection system and a set of slider bars that allowed you to choose the color of your territory on the minimap, the color of the in game UI, the hull and engine colors for ships, but right now all we have is a set of drop-down menus with pre-set color choices for each option. Yes there is variation in materials and textures - but I don't feel like I have total control over what my race will be unless I can throw my own UI, minimap and ship colors at it. 

 

 

Is there another system for color choices on the way for the interface, map and ship colors? How far away will it be? Will it be with us by release?

Also can we please be able to edit custom player races once created? Its annoying to have them set in stone.

I agree we need the option to edit, you can copy and edit the copy then delete the original but that's really clunky.

I talked about color problem repeatedly on this forun and even created a ticket to SD support. But everything seems to be ignored. Although happy I'm not the only one to be bothered with this strange oversight of theirs.   :)
