After installing the new ATI drivers (25 august ones) now I have the same problem, but even if I don't press shift or other keys. Before I hadn't any problem. Yuo have already received the resources when you received the message. Now you can simply go north with the boat and unload troups on the beach on the other side of the Gate. Those troupes will open the gate to let enter land troupes.

Same problem here I had no problem before, I've updated to 1.05 and started the game. First time everything ok, I went to the menu. I've changed some settings in the options, it asked me to restart. Restarted, and black screen, if I hit esc it changes music, it seems as if the menu is there, but i can't see anything. I also tried to delete the pref file to have the game recreate a standard one, but I'm still seeing a black screen. Debug.err:

Yes, there is a way, even if it's a bit complex one. Select a peace of jewelry in the bar and click on the "remove" button. After it, without doing anything else, click on the hull in the bar. Doing so, you'll get the ship with all its components, included the piece of jewelry that you have previously removed, and all the weapons/defences/engines/etc. Now you can add what you wish, and/or remove something.
