eXploration, something that is one of the most eXciting aspects of 4X games, is dreadfully boring in GC3. There are very few reasons to eXplore outside of trying to find those good colonies and strategic resources. Give me cool things to survey that are actually exciting! Give me quests! Give me cool map features! Please. What else would help spice up the maps?
It would be fantastic if you let us close out windows, the research screen, the diplomacy screen, the EVERYTHING with a RIGHT CLICK, or at least give me the option to do so. I hate having to click on icons for everything I do Also, it'd be awesome if I could right click my ships to pull up the command menu, too. Please.

I think you and your team are awesome, Brad. 4X games are tough to make and the fan base is definitely one of the toughest, most cynical groups I've ever seen. However, you keep making your games better and better and I'm a big fan as a result. Personally, I'm still waiting for faction-unique scientists and the invasion stuff. Those, espionage, and politics!

I, too, dislike the pioneer spam, but not to the point you do. I'd much rather make outpost improvement something that you queue up in production at a city or something...but your suggestion is similar to how constructors work in GC3 and that will work as well. I agree with your criticisms. The pioneer issue isn't bad enough for me that I'd stop playing, but the way it's currently implemented does feel very clunky. I've now starter three separate game

I'm concerned by issues like this a week from launch...
MP issues out the yin yang. Turns are dreadfully slow. The chat box is so low that you can't see what you're typing and is otherwise messed up. Weird "Shafer Button" issues, too. Weren't working all the time. Beginning to worry that it may not be ready by the 14th...

I can't tell what half of the research does as I simply can't read it. It's frustrating. I'm sure what seems like a small bug to me must be perplexing you all, but it's a real turn off for me. Please fix it ASAP.
I see a lot of new ground cover and something I've been asking for: a visual representation of your city expansion. This is just fantastic and really looks better than I could have hoped. Do you have a fancy screen for the SK's representative that you can share with us? I'm very excited to see that. Those faction screens are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Whatever you're paying those artists, DOUBLE it ;) BRAVO!
