I was at the Best Buy on 82nd on Sunday and they told that they would have it before Wednesday so i guess he was'nt kidding.

I was able to find the game at Woodburn Dreadmart (Walmart). And guess what else. Its the Collectors Edition, in fact it was only the Collectors Edition. I've been playing since 5:30. If I could I would play well into the morning but unfortunatly I have school. BTW, Thank you Stardock for an awsome space empire building game.

I would love to love it but my parents frown upon online download and purchase thing on stardock. So I still must wait. Sometime in the future could there be an area in the forums where players can post their own stories of gameplay. I think that would be pretty cool.

too true, I thought about getting Empire Earth 2 when it came out then looked at the specs and said "OMG!!! It's just a stratedgy game, why in the blue holy hell does it need a top of the line wallet crushing machine to play?"

I have played that Oregon Trail game in Elementary and Middle School for an educational game its actually fun. After work Saturday I will check Fred Meyer's one last time, Sunday I will go to Fry's and if they don't have it I will just order it from EB or Gamestop.

I would agree with 100+ fps being a bit much as someone said about X2, If the benchmark comes back telling you 140 avg. fps then dude you really need to up the graphics. I'm good with anything between 20 and 30 fps

I tried telling my friends about it but they either dont play video games much, don't play PC games much, and the ones that do play PC games don't care because their souls are being consumed by WoW (which to this day I refuse to get involved in).

The Best Buy closest to me (thats like 35 miles away) said they will have it sometime before Wednesday but they only have 3 units coming in. What exactly is that suppose to mean? is 1 unit 1 copy? or is 1 unit like a box with more copies in it?

I will check again at the closest store (Fred Meyers) on Wednesday. My little podunk redneck town has more churches and bars then anything else. So it will take about 2 gallons of gas

I have never called a store to see if they have it in. I'll try again this weekend. If they still don't have it I may have to take a trip to Fry's in Wilsonville.
