What about it acting like you're starting a new game when you load a game? I would think that needs to be fixed and the scroll on the bonus tile descriptions. Not that I'm to worried about these miniscule problems/annoyances. Stardock you are EXTREME!!!

Any one ever create a custom race then choose the Snathi portrait and have the leader name be Foamy. If you dont know who Foamy is then swing over to illwillpress.com and find out. I actually have not seen the snathi in game yet.

You can't make everyone happy. Does'nt matter how hard you try, and even if you try to hard you'll just make someone else mad. The best thing you can do is explain it to them why it is the way it is and if they still don't understand or like it then they are SOL. Just keep doing what you are doing SD. I think well over a majority would agree with that.

Don't bother trying it on minor races. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe turning a minor race is impossible.

I also remember something saying Intel integrated cards won't cut it. And trust me I had the same graphics setup for years. It ran everything slow. RoN at 4.1 avg. fps. and thats on 16bit. I got fed up and bought a new one. Radeon 9250 128mb are pretty cheap. It'll run you about $100.

Influence Starbase: to extend your... well influence. Economy Starbases: try to set them so there range affects as many worlds as possible. This can lead to being able to build ships faster at those planets. Military Starbase: I have'nt really used these. Except load them up with weapons and shielding and laugh histerically when the AI attacks it. Mining Starbases: mmmm, military resources.

I have'nt been Nuetral or Evil yet. I only just found out that in order to get the benefits and that you must research Xeno Ethics. Though if I had to guess i'd say go Evil for the Conquer the Galaxy approach, Good for Alliance victory, and Neutral for Influence Victory.

any thing above Intelligent they get bonuses. Intelligent is the highest difficulty before they cheat.

My first game after I bought the game. I was playing as human, on beginner difficulty, after a while the Arceans owned the Dengin, Yor and slowly the Altereans. The Altereans asked for my help so I decided to attack the Arceans. I had a whole bunch of fleets surrounding one Arcean world I figured I was gonna overkill them... I was soo wrong. One time I got trapped up against the side of the map with just the starting planet and the class 4 thats always there. Those were my only two planets the 2 stars next to mine were the home of the other races. So next patch I would suggest scattering the starting positions of the races out a little bit.
