I must admit I only had two to three levels max with the Advent capitals. One was some sort of battle ship the other I think was called something destroyer, sorry can't remember the actual names. It just felt like it was taking ages to reduce shields/hull of some TEC frigates. Yes I did lose mine constantly Mayb

You don't want them to be too powerful otherwise someone will just build the most powerful capital ship in there arsenal and send it at you early in the game and there would be nothing you could do to stop it except intercept with your most powerful capital ship. Then who's ever capital ship dies first looses. No I think the capital ships are just right the way they are now.
I seen there were some new screenshots on game spot so I decided to take a look. I only saw 2 new images but only 1 was from this game. What is the other one for. I am pretty sure it is not Sins. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/sinsofasolarempire/images.html?sid=6184551&om_act=convert&om_clk=gumballs&tag=gumballs;img;1 look at the bottom of Jan. 10 screenshots.
I have played IG2 but not 1 or 3. I hated how that game would stack ships. So if you had 100 destroyers in a fleet on the battle map you would have 10 destroyers with the number 10 in the selection box. Basically you had 1 destroyer that could be destroyed 10 times.
Its not wise to correct the Emperor
*Looks at calendar* YOU'RE FREAKING 8 DAYS EARLY!!!! Lol you just wanted an excuse to share this video, didn't you! Question: Why do I celebrate xmas even though I'm atheist?
I to am an athiest. I think it's just a time of the year to give gifts to the
I think the shock wave from the explosion is what is suppose to damage the fighters.
I guess P5yy mentioned it here: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=402&aid=166573&p=1#1392025 I hope devs know about it.
I am not sure if this has been mentioned I tried to search but nothing came up so here it goes. I played a 1v1 game verses CPU on a random medium game. Played as Vasari CPU was TEC. In larger battles the projectiles from ships were missing. They show up periodically but then disappear again. Also in some cases the impact effects do not go off on enemy ships. The shield effects happen but no impact effects. And when destroying an enemy station while the weapons are invisible the stat
Just exit the game and restart it, then start a new game without touching the tutorials and everything will be fine.
This happened to me my first game today. When I started a new game my guys were shooting as normal again. Same here, I just restarted the game and my fleet engaged the pirates after the jump. And they started attacking me as well so I take it it is now working as intended.
I just got the beta today. In the tutorial where you have to kill off the pirates my ships destroyed them. However when I started a game and sent a small fleet to a world that has pirates my ships would not shoot at them. Likewise they did not shoot at me however when I colonized the world the pirate pillager started to attack the planet. And I could not get my ships to attack the pirate ship.
There are some pretty good ones here, here is a few: (WARNING: these may tick off highly religious fan boys) "Jesus don't walk on water anymore, his feet leak."- Edward Abbey "Is there a god? maybe, is there an angry unicorn on the dark side of the moon?"- Edward Abbey "It may be true that my desk here is really "nothing but" a transient eddy of electrons in the flux of universal process. Toss the illegal ones back, keep the legal ones unless they are helping others get here illegaly. meh... why cant we all just get along.
IMO, Every country should be able to develop nuclear weapons. The US has them so does China, Russia, Isreal and UK. So who are we to say others cannot possess these weapons when we have them sitting in our subs
I downloaded the latest 1.1 beta 2 and loaded my game from before the patch. Everything was fine. Then the Iconians started building Constructors like crazy, understandable considering they had very few holdings in the galaxy, I figured they were building Influence starbases and they did build them. A lot of them, but thats not the problem the problem is they also built mining bases in the middle of no where, not on any resource. They built 2 in clo
I think that is so someone who is really rich cannot make an insta-colony
I like having a lot of people. They give me money. Last game I almost had 1 trillion pop. (yeah it was a huge map) and i was making 1000 bc per turn even with industrial at 100%. Luckily I had 3 mining bases on morale resouces.
Well I like the sandwich the way it is, thank you very much. And hopefully improvements will make the sandwich even tastier.
FYI, you dont have to win each level in order to move on.
I usually switch it up game to game. My last game I was Evil the one before that I was Neutral. In the game i'm playing now which has all the races enabled on a huge map i am playing as good. I felt like not even God could touch me when i had psionic beam equiped ships
yeah population number is based on the number paying taxes. It took me awhile to figure this out. So you could actually have more people then what it is telling you.
well, it all depends, some games, the AI gets WAY ahead very quickly, almost unrealistically quickly and some games, they are so slow its boring. Thats true I was playing on Normal and the Iconians had Disruptors 3 (which they would not give to me) and the highest thing everyone else had was Phasors 4
Intelligent will have its venegence.... I want my mommy
I don't remember there being an event for a new minor race called fundamentalist ever showing up, there has been events where races such as the Vegans and the Scottlingas. So I would be at war with these fanatics since i am neutral. Now i'm gonna find these religious zealots and kill them.
