Thanks Brad... I got to ask. Have you ever fixed a quiet wheel? I find that the squeaky wheel gets addressed. Now I got to go play my game and wipe away the tears of joy.

Thanks... I know I want to play now, but I can wait. I pretty much buy any game you make and will continue to do so.
I still love Stardock. I really want to try some of the new features. As for bug testing I find it fun. I admit I like bug reporting in many of the MMOs (SOE games) I have tested. There you would report bugs directly to the developers and then if needed log in and show them.
When are more founders going to get a chance to try out Crusade? I understand unpolished, I played back at the start of founders play. I really want to try out the new version. Please Brad :(
Sycloness #9421 I want to play too....
Zone of Control is your influence and that now starts at zero. You have to work on influence now.
I like all the changes that are being made to the game. I really want to play but have not been able to bring myself to really play in a year. Main reason are Starbases or mainly upgrading them. Please all I want is a toggle button of the starbase screen for auto update. I just cannot bring myself click through all those starbases after I research an upgrade. On the maps I play it takes 5-10 minutes every time I get an upgrade. Any chance we can get this? I have tons of free time ri
I think option two would be better. The AI never uses the mass bonus system and the player could always add more modules. Now option two puts the player and the AI on the same playing field. I would use the tech tree as a way to increase fighters on the single module. That way one could still have a carrier with a large enough fighter force if they invest enough into the tech. Just my thoughts..
I just wanted to say thanks Heremvore. I had all but stopped playing GC3 because it was just too easy. I tried your mod out and I feel like a complete newbie again. I feel like I am playing Dark Avatar for the first time in GC2. I had to lower the AI settings just to keep up, just as I did in Dark Avatar. I lost my first 3 games on my normal settings and I have not lost a game in years on default build. I tried really hard to not lose, but I just had to give up and play at lower set
Everything is working well on turn 25 atm.
That was my problem then. I did not extract to anything. I tried placing the files manually. Thanks, look forward to playing your mod.

Thanks for the replies. I did not figure auto and repair could be done because they are not in the base game, but was worth a shot. As for the two mods I really want here were my thoughts. Hit point modules 1. unlocks with small hull tech, 1 module = 50 hps, name structural reinforcement I 2. unlocks with medium hull tech, 2 module = 100 hps, name structural reinforcement II 3. unlocks with large hull tech, 3 module = 150 hps, name
Request to Modders, I would like to request a mod for improvements to Starbases. I know Stardock is going to over haul starbases at some point but I do not want to wait any longer. If someone can create or help me understand how to create the mod I would be grateful. <span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: sma
First off I love this game I love Stardock and my thoughts are only meant to make the game better so as Brad would say the AI can kick my butt. My problems with the AI (I play on Incredible difficulty mainly, godlike requires too much micromanagement for my taste) The AI never builds ships with the right defense against my weapon type. I can understand at the start of the war but 50-300 turns into a war not putt
Odd when they did this in GalCiv2. You would think that they would have remembered that the icons were colored coded. Well lets hope I can bug Paul and Brad enough to patch it in sooner than later.
I do not auto survey which is why I miss the color coded anomaly icons from GalCiv2. I look for artifact anomalies and try and get those before the AI does. I pick up anomalies on the way to the ones I want but do not go out of my way to get minor anomalies. I then go back and get the ship graveyards the AI leaves alone. Color coded icons are a god send for how I play. So if you know what txt file and the section I need to edit it would be a big help.
Any chance you can color code the strategic anomaly icons, like GalCiv2? I really hate hovering over all the icons to find artifacts and capsules. Also to avoid wormholes.
Paul has said in his streams a few times they are adding monsters.
I just offer the AI an economic treaty every 15 turns for 50 turns and they pay me very well for it....
I do not think I ever remember any 4x game that I played to let you push out more than 1 unit per turn. I do not even know why this keeps getting brought up.
I play a custom race that is unlikeable (-2 diplomacy) and I am able to trade right away without no penalty. I offer treaties to the races I like for their cash and I toss in a few good tech since they are going to be on my team. Then I buy the techs I want from the races that do not like me. I guess credits trump their hate for me. Then when the time limit is up I attack the races that are hostile towards me. I have been playing on medium maps lately wit
The AI do not value it enough. Cash is too easy to make in GalCiv3 via selling techs, resources, and treaties. Everyone starts out with 5k and within 10 turns I can pretty much sell non weapon techs and have all the AI's cash. On levels above normal the AI have insane sums of cash. Trading them treaties for cash I have got anywhere from 2-10k. Then you just buy all the techs. I like to buy the AI's flagships and get all the goodie huts on the map.....
Love this!!!!!!!!! Can we get some StarGate (The series) Jack O’Neill Teal’c Samantha Carter Anubis Apophis Thor Replicators Just to name a few
Yea I am noticing the same thing. I am on a huge map right now on turn 60 and the AI has 20-80k each. I have noticed that the vast army of colony ships has been replaced by constructors.
