Okay, I just upgraded too. It's come a long way over the years and is extremely polished. Looking forward to the configuration overhaul in upcoming releases.
Chris
Congrats, Nakor :)
Thanks, Zubaz. Will Do.
Okay after poking around and looking at some other screenshots of KeepSafe, it appears it always uppercases names and there's no way to change the behavior via existing configuration options. Therefore, can I respectfully request a feature in a future release in which I can do so? Thanks, Chris
I just purchases KeepSafe since it seems an ideal solution for me. However I did notice, that when a file is "saved", KeepSafe is not maintaining the case of the file. It converts the name and extension to uppercase. I realize Windows' filesystem is not case sensitive, however this is still a problem. I do a lot of Java programming, and KeepSafe converted SomeClass.java to SOMECLASS.JAVA which is just not acceptable. Is there any option in KeepSafe to have it maintain the real file
I had a similar problem after the last update, and then, unrelated, I tried out Impulse. Decided to uninstall deskscapes and reinstall again (had done this once already using Stardock Central) - except this time I did it in Impulse. have no idea why, but now it works again.Vista 32 bit home basic. geforce 8800 gts. drivers 174.74. And now that its working, I've archived it this time, lesson learned.
Okay, I just tried what you did, and now deskscapes works!
I'm having a similar problem. I'm running Vista Ultimate (with NVidia 8800 GT OC card witi the latest drivers) and Deskscape no longer works for me. MPEG files seem to play, but Dreams do nothing. Very odd. Haven't been able to figure out what the issue is.
Wow, Jorge, Winstep's come along way. I've been away from it for awhile. Winstep always had a ton of functionality and features beyond simple eye candy, and after trying this latest version, it's even more impressive. Anyways, great job. I've just registered it.
hmm. I think the last time I posted in this thread was 4 years ago. CDs in current rotation: Mastodon - "Blood Mountain" Iron Maiden - "A Matter of Life and Death" Muse - "Black Holes and Revelations" Porcupine Tree - "In Absentia"
Happy Belated Hatchday, MadIce!
Here's something interesting. The continuous reload only occurs when I'm logged in to the wincustomize site. If I load this thread page when I'm not logged in, everything is fine.
sland Dog & Chris, on the advanced tab under Network, do you have the browser identified as Opera? Setting it to Opera / Mozilla / IE makes no difference. This thread page continuously reloads over and over again. Using Opera 8.5 BTW
when I look at a post in the forums the page seems to continuously "reload". I have this problem with the Wincustomize forums as well. In fact, I had to make this post using FireFox. The progress bar in the addresses to 100% as the page loads, then it starts back at 0% and starts to climb back t
Is it the green skin in this screenshot? If so that is Kryptonite and is a wincustomize-subscriber-only skin
I think I'm being generous here and rate your sourdough jack and curly fries a 2 at best. Try spending more time working on it. Perhaps with some ketchup.
The best pizza is the really thin crisp ones, with some slightly sweet red sauce
Greek pizzas are usually quite bad. A sea of oil held in by a dam of crust. You must eat it with a spoon and a straw
BoXXi, Here'a link to a legal, downloadable version of Bruce Eckel's "Thinking in Java",of one of the more definitive books. I believe it's primarily more of a straight Java language book, rather than one devoted to the various Java-based technologies and APIs and frameworks. http://www.mindview.net/Books/TIJ/ Eclipse is a very popular, free Java IDE (actually since it's extensible, it can be used with other languages and technologies

That may be problematic because Giger's stuff is copyrighted.
Doh it appears to be working now. Nonetheless it would nice if it had the abilities in my previous post.
It doesn't appear to work on my system. When I run it, I get the configuration window. When I then try the Open dialog in an app, I just get the regular old Windows dialog box. I don't know if Enhanced Dialog does this yet but it would be nice to be able to select from previoiusly accessed folders *and* previously accessed files, *and* be able to maintain previously accessed folders and files on a per-app basis, as well as favorite folders on
Just search the windowblinds library for Advance Here http://www2.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3427&LibID=1 And a slightly different version http://www2.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3998&LibID=1
Front Page It'd be nice if I could see the list of new entries without having to click the new tab and load another page (besides bening annoying, that's just one more hit on the server that a lot of people will be doing) Uer Galleries While browing user's galleries, we are presented with two columns of skins, However each is so wide that it requires horizontal scrolling to view them even when the browser is maxed at 1280x102
With DesktopX widgets, pressing F9 toggles the Z-order of the widgets back and forth between on Desktop and On Top. Pressing F9 toggles hiding and showing widgets altogether. You can also change it to use something other than F9 and F10. Or are you talking about something altogether different?
