Sounds good. Options are never a bad thing.
Data change (usually balance stuff) require a new game. So if you'd like the latest/greatest then you should start a new game.
As I thought. Thanks![e digicons][/e]
I probably already know the answer ;) , but if we've been running the open beta and started a new game with the last version, should I start another new game now with this version? Thanks!
Not sure if this is a bug or a new "feature" but hovering my mouse over an anomaly no longer shows any information about what type of anomaly it is, nothing is shown at all now. EDIT: Not sure what was happening but after restarting the game after posting here it restored the function... All seems to be good again. [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
Yes, you're right about there being a need for some documentation. I'd love to have a list of all the artifacts and what they do for reference so I know which I would prefer to focus on at any given moment...
Unfortunately, you need a new game to get the latest data and balance changes.
Thanks for the info!
Patch is live now. Enjoy.
Thanks! Is it advisable to start a new game with this particular patch (from a game started from the previous version) or can we continue on with our current one?
Hmmm, I'm not seeing any of these issues myself at all. Everything seems to be working like it's supposed to... [e digicons][/e]
I would love to see the weather docklet work again... please! :D
Looks like I'll have more than enough time to finish my current game... was kind of hoping I wouldn't... ;) I'm ready any time you guys feel like dropping it... :D
Saw this thread and just had to post... :) I've never used "social media" at all, except for Discord because of GC3 and being a founder. I've never had a use for it and don't see a need to ever use them. The negatives far outweigh the positives, imho... Okay, back to observer mode...
I think the key point, and one that should forcefully be made to Microsoft, is that updates should not be forced on users, particularly since recent updates have caused so much damage. In fact, things need to go back to the old way, when Automatic Updates were opt in or opt out, not compulsory. I always opted out until I was sure the update[s] were safe to install, and Win 10 users should be afforded a period of grace to allow fo
We found the problem and will have a fix up next week. Thanks for helping us out!
Cool! I just came on here to report the same issue. Looking forward to the fix! Thanks.
Anyone know what time this is expected to drop? Yes, I'm a bit anxious to try it out... :) Never mind, just saw my own answer: "It'll be available to purchase on Steam, GOG, and of course GalCiv3.com, starting Monday afternoon EST, November 12."
Quoting JcRabbit, reply 12 I wasted HOURS trying EVERYTHING to solve the problem, all of Microsoft's recommended solutions (restarting and resetting the update services, cleaning update caches, yada, yada, yada) and then some, to no avail. NOTHING solved the problem. <
Yeah, I'm pretty bummed that this is still a problem after this much time has passed... re-installing didn't do a thing, of course, as it's not an installation issue. Come on, Stardock, you can get this resolved if you want to! ;)
I have the same problem for the past four days. Very unusual as I've never had this problem before over the years of using this. Guess I'll have to try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps... :( EDIT: Funny thing is their web site still works and is running fine, just not the app to their feed or their feed to the app...
Nice, leiavoia, thanks for the fix!
I hate those "works for me" posts, but here's another one.
Yeah, me, too, except when I'm posting them... ;)
Last night I subscribed to two races from the workshop (from inside GC3) and they downloaded and are available in the game.
I've tried a few times a few different ways but they don't show up... Wondering if it has something to do with some really old ones I've had fro
Same problem here. Playing the latest beta and saw this and thought I'd try and see if it affected me and it does. Doesn't matter whether I'm accessing the workshop through the Steam app or the game, adding a race and then restarting the game the newly added race does not show up.
Was trying to build "Paxton's Emporium" and got a message that an AI had built it. It was removed from my build que but still appears in the list of things to build and I am now attempting to build it again. EDIT: Edited to say that this is a new game, no mods, 93 AI from Steam workshop and within the game itself. Playing my own custom AI. EDIT #2: Upon playing some more, one turn in I got the same message and it
Never looked at the wiki before, thanks for the link. Though they do need to update it for Intrigue, they list Durantium as the most galactic resource...
Found a couple of issues while playing. One is that the custom race I created and am playing I ended up encountering while playing... yes, I met my own race that I created and am playing while exploring. Ships exploring space beyond visual range are giving those gaps in explored areas again...: Some grammatical errors here: <img src="https://s6.postimg.
Yes, I have them, too.
Working as intended.
Yup, to rationalize it I just pretend that the admin is actually on the ship that was lost... ;)
