Sorry for the delayed response, was away for part of the holidays with no computer access... @DaveBax, thanks for the detailed reply! I have actually tried a little bit of what you have said, thinking it was exactly the case you spelled out, i.e., some skins can't recolor, of course I chose one that wouldn't! I'm starting to agree that it may be too nerfed after this latest patch. On my first game after the "fixing patch" to nerf the precursor planets/anomalies, playing on a gigantic map and common anomalies I've only encountered 3 of the anomalies and they were so-so ones. I feel a bit spoiled after the initial release. :D Yes, there were too many anomalies but now I think the pendulum has swung too far in the opposite direction. Have to play another game with them set higher and see how

New to WB in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Is there some sort of tutorial for newbies like myself? Right now, I'm just looking at how to recolor my title bars and taskbar but have been unable to figure out how to recolor them with the skin I put on. Nothing I do affects those areas despite me changing what I think should do it... Normally, I'm not this dense about figuring stuff out but can't for the life of me find out how to do this. I also had this happen to me with the latest build. Insane sized map with 31 Majors (including many customs, obviously) and rare minors. One race on the other side of the map around turn 39 declared war on me after having their survey ship fall into a wormhole into my territory. They demanded stuff right away, I said no, next turn they declare war on me. It's now turn 340 and we've never encountered each other again. I'm now in the #1 slot and around turn 312 they asked for peace.

I think this happens when something is still going on within the game but it's not enough to prevent you from being able to save the game so you can get that tilde. Saving once again seems to sort it out for me.

Despite being bummed at having to give up on an insane mapped game 480+ turns into to be able to play with the pPrecursor worlds and all but it's been worth it! Having a blast with 1.5.
