Thanks for the new version. I was only running the released version previously, so all I had to do was install the DX-V2.2 from SDCentral and restart, then open SDCentral and click the more button and install IconX, then configure it. My personal themes designed in non-beta version all transferred without issue, so problems above may be confined to beta version transfer. I am planning to start my first skin and was wondering about the window frame and the taskbar elements. My question actually has 2 parts: 1) Should I use vector art for the creation of my frames and buttons and bring that art into Photoshop to do lighting and shadows, then save to .bmp and .tga - or just use rastor art and do all in photoshop. Frogboy, Thanks for the article. I know run>msconfig is a favorite of IS (IT) people running company networks. Windows 98 and XP have the msconfig included. People running Windows 2000 may have to find the utility download. I don't think Windows 2000 includes it natively, but I know we have it installed as a seperate piece of software by the IS crew where I work. Martin, I mentioned zoomer calendars, clocks, and media players off the top of my head to help people with small monitors who could have objects placed out of the way and still be able to do a mouse over to get information or control their audio. Martin, Off the top of my head I thought of something in the way of an address book that would consist of an image of a book (maybe 256 x 176?) which would act as a toggle for the display frame (small window of some sort) which would contain: Name, Address, Phone, E-mail. It would need a next and previous search button as well as a reference for alphabetical search to speed up process.
