frustrating income bug

So I had a net weekly income of around -12, then I build the "More powerful Elemental Extractor" which is supposed to add 35 income,(actually +37 due to placement bonus) and the next turn, nothing has changed on the net income. I can't even tell how its coming up with the net income as it doesn't show it's calculations. If I add up the net income on the colonies screen its WAY different than what it says in the upper left corner. This has happened on both the last expansion and the latest one. Any ideas why this is wrong?

Edit, I think I found the bug, it's adding up the "Gross Income" (also a misnomer because it should have been called "base income") from the colony, which excludes all bonuses, and using that instead of the "Net Income"...so the income is totally bugged...The elemental extractor, and economic bonuses are all completely worthless and not factoring into anything.

I can't be the only one with this issue can I?

Both Elemental Extractor improvements add to ColonyNetIncome which is then subject to your Tax rate, which is also giving you the "false" reading, colonies screen is pre tax. However, you should have seen an increase of some kind, unless you built ships and or improvements that negated the increase.

I was pretty sure it adds to the final income of a planet but before global tax rate.... I just never paid much attention because it is only relevant in early game and severely underpowered for mid to late game.
