Can anyone tell me if there is a way for another member of my household to have a seperate blog site and user name on JoeUser using the same computer? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone! I'm new to blogging. I've been following many of the discussions via politicalmachine.com, and thought I might give this a try.
On election day we each made a gut check and took our best guess at what would be best for the next four years. We all have strong feelings about it because we all think that it is important. Now we must accept the result and make the best of it. We will never know if the country or the world would have been better or worse with President Kerry. That alternative universe is forever severed from the reality we live in. I would like to point out a f
(beware of anyone trying to toss around any exit polls in battle ground states until the end of the day - whether they be for Bush or Kerry). I hope you are right. I've seen some posted on msn already.
Forgive me for not saying. PA - Bush - Registered
I actually voted for John Kerry, before I voted against him... PA - Bush
In 1996, would you have predicted that George W. Bush would have been president in 2000? For all we know, some Republican governor or other senator might make it to the big league by 2008. Some were predicting in '96 Bush running in 2000 or 2004 at latest. They just thought it would be Jeb.</
Sorry if I over quoted in the last post. I saw that discussion at work earlier today, and I didn't have a chance to comment until now.

I think that question was what if Al Qaeda sets off a nuke in an American City, how would you respond. The middle choice was something along the lines of "I can't really say what, but I would certainly respond to it" No wonder they turned on me! That missing text bug can really bite you!<img src="../im
Well, I tried one more. I managed to get to about week 24 before CDT. Had something odd happen before that. My first interview came about week 20, on joeuser.com. They asked me a question with no text in the question, but it had 3 answers: America should re-evaluate their policy, America should do something else that I can't remember, but didn't sound that good, and America should turn the middle east into glass. Well, I foolishly chose the first
Well, the game is really getting close with 4A, from what I've seen so far. However, the CDTs are back with a vengance for me. How do I get the smart exception tool to post a crash report? Also, the intro movie does something wierd for me. It is a split screen with the bottom on top, and the top on bottom. Minor to me, I just turn off the intro anyway. As before, PIII 933, 64M GForce 2, W2K
Arrrrrgh! Why do we do this to ourselves? How do we get into these choices? Why must we be forced to choose only between Kerry and Bush? And why, after regettably choosing the lesser of two evils, whichever side that is for us, are we so self rightious about our choice? Is it just to console ourselves after making a choice we didn't like? Can't we do better just once? Sorry, just overstressing on all the hyperpolitics this election is ge
Thanks for the reply Frogboy. I am a little disapointed that it won't be around for a while yet, but I'm glad I know when to look for it.
Hey all, I am really looking forward to PM going live and playing around with the metaverse. The forums seem very active, and if this is reflective of the interest in the game, then it should really be interesting. But I am confused about some of the messages I see posted here. Some folks talk about getting "troll" points or being blacklisted. Does this mean that even though I play the game and post on the forums, someone will be able to j
Any projected time for the metaverse to go live?
Genghis, in Oregon that means your opinion is worth 20+ cents. Good for you!
I had a game where I was ahead by a large margin in all states. Then, for some reason, SC went to my opponent. When I checked, I had 0% awareness, while I had close to or had 100% in all the other states. I sent my canidate there, ran TV ads, bought political consultants, gave speeches... Nothing could raise my awareness above 0. As far as South Carolina was concerned, I just ceased to exist. Happened to me in an earlier build in RI, too. Both g
Polls are fleeting things. As long as Iraq sucks all the oxygen up in the media, the polls will reflect how the people feel we are doing in Iraq. If (and it's a big if) we can disengauge successfully from Iraq by the election, or if it looks like things are going that way, Bush's polls bounce right back up. Does that really tell us anything about the election? I think it's really too early for the polls to matter. If it was mid September, I'd be m
Reply #3 By: Mr_Frog - 5/16/2004 12:06:39 AM I don't think I'm going to vote for either of them. I may vote "None of the above" like I did in 2000, because I don't like *any* of the candidates. If you are going to the write in option anyway, write someone in who has the qualities that you feel a
Well, can't resist throwing my 2 cents in. I'm from Western PA. While I don't know if dittomonkey911 has it right on the Gay Marrage issue specifically, he is quite correct about the generalities. Western PA is Democratic as a hold over from when "everyone" worked in the steel mills or depended on them for their living, and so nearly everyone was pro-unions. But W. PA also has the old immigrant work ethic thing going for it. That makes them social
OK, couple of quick points. Just got 2A and started my first game. The video seems worse than before. I lost almost everything on the map, so I decided to just stay put and try to fundraise and build capital. Big supprise! The ticker said that I was the "President Elect" in week 12! Guess it helps to have the press on your side! I must have already won!
The game should, through reward or punishment, move you into some of the other issues. Force you away from the milktoast "Jobs and Envirement" platform. And of course, make it possible to do the same to your opponent...
Oh, and just once, have someone ask me on my stand on "Uncovering the Alien Conspiracy"
