"Senator Kerry clearly believes not only is it the security issue that cost him the election, but very specifically the Osama tapes coming out in the 11th hour," Rivera reported Friday. <br

They should do a poll on how many people voted for who they wanted vs how many just voted for "the lesser of two evils". I fall in the latter category, and I voted for Bush.
Who do you think will make the playoffs? Who will win the Super Bowl? Heres mine: AFC North – Pittsburgh Steelers AFC East – New England Patriots AFC West – San Diego Chargers AFC South – Indianapolis Colts AFC Wildcard – Denver Broncos AFC Wildcard – New York Jets NFC East – Philadelphia Eagles NF
I still hope my Bengals can beat them this Sunday, though. You never know....it could happen. Really. It could...... You never know... The Bengals do tend to get fired up for Pittsburgh!

Although I was born in southwest Pennsylvania, my family moved around a little bit. At the age of eight, I found myself once again transplanted, this time all the way to Davenport, Iowa. To say that this was a change of scenery would be an understatement. Instead of the beautiful hills and trees I was used to, there was flat farmland covered with nothing but corn a
You Aren't You, But I Am Me If I'm not me, then who is? I guess I'd better do it because I don't think anyone else could be me as we
Probably because we already beat this one to death. OK. Thanks!
I think if we supported them, the Kurds would be the ally in the region that we say we want Iraq to be. Poof! No muss, no fuss. Don't know why we are fighting it so hard.
Just curious. I thought this would get more responses. Is it because the issue has already been beat to death, because I posted it over the weekend, or because you just didn't find it interesting? Thanks for your comments, Hank
OK, I'll take a swing at this one. Michael Moore plays with how he edits the truth. As an example, in Bowling for Colombine, he talks about how heartless the NRA was to come to Denver the week after the shootings. When he does this, he plays a clip from Heston giving his "From my cold, dead hands" line. Only, that was taken from a different time and place - a year later in a different state. The side I heard, the NRA was going to cancel the conven
I thought that Bush (Yes, and Clinton too) were moderates for their parties. Bush signed some bills that were Democratic issues, and Clinton signed welfare reform. They just sound like they are on the edges when they are trying to rally their bases. Then again, I think that I stayed a moderate, and only look conservitive because the country went more to the left...
Great article Texas! You've been one of the people that have made me feel welcome.
I'm new to JoeUser, so this is interesting to me too. Great advice about commenting on other's works. One thing I would share though. I found JoeUser because of the politicalmachine.com forums. I had just started following the discussions over there and had only made two or three comments when I got blasted for responding to someone's blog. He said that he clearly posted on his site that he didn't want anyone to respond, then "tore me a new one".
Did you include the over 2 dozen Russian Migs(aircraft) that they found buried in the sand? I missed that one. Thanks <TD class="mb-Bo
Just my two cents: The "radicalization" that was happening is what encouraged me to go from lurker and rarly commenter to blogger. The bait worked. I couldn't let some of the things I was reading go unchallanged. But once when I responded to a forum from over in politicalmachine.com, I got blasted - not for what I was saying, but that I was saying anything at all! So, I figured if you can't beat them, join them. Now I have a blog (Muh ha ha ha ha
Parts are reposted from a discussion on the forum at diplomats.galciv.org It has been a year and a half now since the USA went to war in Iraq. After all this time, I still hear people using the same tired argument: “Bush lied! There were no WMDs! It was all for oil!” Most people that use this argument talk about it like they are just going to pul
Which is more valuable? Security or freedom? We can't have all of both. Apparently you, like many others, choose freedom over security. "Those who are willing to trade freedom for security deserve neither freedom nor security." -BENJAMIN FRANKLIN Although I remembered (incorrectly?) the ori
Yes, but what right is being weakened here? I was responding to the previous quote that referenced the "right to privacy". Without getting into the whole "Is privacy really a right" issue, wherever we start accepting more of being watched, searched, screened, etc, we loose a little more freedom. The i
Evil can be found anywhere we choose. If this type of x-ray will stop terrorists from getting on planes with weapons, I am all for it. Our right to privacy is minimal in comparison to what evils a terrorist can spread. I would argue that every right we weaken or surrender in the name of fighting terrori
