Well i've already heard this from some civ fans with civ 4, when the game came out, they played it and were furious because it had changed ("where is pollution!! put it back in the game i want to have my 400 workers cleaning it!!! Hi, i Downloaded and installed the desktop theme too, but when i play Galciv 2 in windows mode the game is blurry (text is very difficult to read, and as Geckomind says the border around the window is black witn no visible borders, i reinstalled windows theme and all is back to normal . How is calculated planetary influence? What does mean the number in ( ) next to the planetary 'ip'? Are influence and influence points not the same thing? I ask this because i tried to understand how was calculated each planets influence and still don't have a clue. Hi, I made some tests of population growth / approval, here are the results: Planet population over 1 billion: 1% -> 20% approval = planet loses 10% of its population per turn. 21% -> 40% approval = no population growth. 41% -> 100 % approval = always +200 million people per turn. I agree with Lord KIRon, when it the ship doesn't see anymore anomalies the survey mode unchecks itself. So it would be nice to check the explore + survey modes with a priority for surveying, so when a anomaly apears it stops exploring and go analyse it. it apears also that it doesn't see anomalies in fog of war when i can see them in tactical mode... is that a bug? if i know where they are why not my survey ship? I suppose the map memorises the position of what i've discovered,

Hi, I had the same problem too. The mouse visually freezes in the screen but the actual mouse is invisible and you can find your way out of the game by highlighting the option "Quit" (press escape first).
