I also tried to use it after disabling Windows AV protection real-time, still the same resultant error. One thing that I can confirm is that my color mode changes from dark to "custom" during the failed attempt to apply Windowblinds themes.

I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the WindowBlinds application. Every time I try to apply a theme I get the error message popping up that it did not install correctly and offering to try to fix it, which answer yes to. No joy. Everything that I search for points to blaming ESET as an issue, but I don't have ESET installed on my system. I've just bought a subscription to this today, and am not impressed with having to waste time trying to get any functionality whatsoever ou
