I'm looking at the specs for the alpha on Epic (I know you said it's only on galciv4.com, but itnseems to be available from Epic soon, I can't remember the date), and I was wondering, will the final game have the same mimimum and recommended specs, or will they be higher?
Quoting MottiKhan, reply 65 I'm not sure if this has been asked somewhere else, but will we have an opportunity to buy a Founder's package similar to what we did in the beginning of GalCivIII? I'd be interested in one. Typically Stardock offe

I never asked for any specific change. Your comments seem somewhat negative to the ideas presented, what are you solutions to the concerns?

Something has to be done, though. To defend a planet using starbases, I have to form a solid ring around it, which is prohibitive in cost, especially in Admins. I could have a ship on sentry, but that is triggered by any and every kind of ship that comes within range which means that I get pulled back to that ship within a few turns. I then can't put it back on sentry until the other ship passes, which means either constantly coming back to that ship each turn until t
I don’t know about buildings changing cost based on galaxy creation. I would prefer more balanced galaxies and for the love of god missions for every resource type so at least you can use production to acquire scant resources.
I second this. It'd be difficult to keep track of resources of they're changing names all the time. I would also prefer more consistent galaxies in terms of proportions of resou

At some point they made Crusade, Retribution and Mega Events free with the base game. I'm not sure when that was, but if you got it before that change, that might be the problem. Does anyone know when that was?

You bought it on 21st February 2021? You should have gotten Crusade free, the same as Retribution. It is now an integral part of the game so it won't register as a separate item. It was added free because it changed some of the ways the files were organised, so it made it easier for the devs to create more content if everyone had it. Or something like that, anyway. It made it easier for devs to develop content. Mega Events DLC is also included. Intrigue isn't included an is ad

I liked the way that Star Wars: Empire at War did it; each planet/star system was a build tile where you could build things, then it was connected to the local planets by traversible routes, which you couldn't stop midtransit. Some were hyperlanes that you could travel faster on. I wouldn't want the same exact system, perhaps more freedom of where you can build and so forth, but I think it would provide a basis for reducing memory load. It would also help make things a bit more defensible - s

I have a GalCiv3 game running, but not often I can get on the computer to play it. I'm having a bit of a run on Suoer Smash Bros. Ultimate, and once the new patch lands, I'll have another game of Civ VI. I'd play GalCiv3 more if it were in the Switch.

I can now build the economic rings, although money is still a bit sluggish - 300 net per turn. However, that's ten times what I was getting before, so definitely an improvement. Is there a way of queuing research? It's a little frustrating having the screen come up every other turn asking me what to do next. I'd prefer to choose what I want on the current screen and then not be bothered for a dozen turns or whatever. Also, is there a way of recycling units? I'm getting to the

Forgive me if I repeat some already present, I'm using the wiki to filter out ideas. Heavy planet. Increased research due to effects of high gravity on bodies and objects. Maybe increased resources since there is a lot of stuff there? Decreased tourism due to bad effects of gravity. Decreased construction due to difficulty manipulating objects in high gravity. Decreased growth due to harsh conditions. Dw
Quoting Linklite, reply 10 I researched a tech that said I'd be able to build trade stuff in starbases, promenades and such but none of my SBs come up with the option to build a trade based rings or modules? To use those you have to
You can significantly increase your income through tourism if your cultural influence is high enough. Each tourism planetary improvement is only 1%, but since it's calculated based on the total number of tiles under your influence it can really add up. Much better than trade for me.

An income of a few hundred per turn allows you to do some upgrading of starbases and bu

Thanks for your advice, I managed to win it with your great help. It was cheesing it a bit - people kept declaring war on me and losing, until I had two allies left and one neutral, one ally was close to winning by ascension. I wiped out the Slyne and won a diplomatic victory. Amusing as I was not diplomatic in the least. How do you win a tech victory? Do you just research everything? The key targets didn't seem to be on my tech tree. Do the percentages on the victory

There's no right or wrong, just different preferences. Massive and sparse leads to more realistic game with control done by an almost purely star system level. Smaller but denser is more continuous and pressured game - fights can happen anywhere, and you have to be more defensive since enemies can come from anywhere. This isn't so true for point 1 because it is far less time efficient. JJust different styles of games. Personally, I'm finding the whack-

Thanks for the response. I've almost finished my first game (I need to knock out the Iridium Corp before they get an Ascension Victory), and between the guides and just playing by ear, I seem to have the basics down, so thanks. I have another rquestion though. I got the game for free on Epic, and I'm looking at buying DLC but I'm a little confused. I got the game under the impression that it was just the base game, but I have Crusade and Retribution, which seems to be i

So I just got GC3 and I'm trying it out. This is the first time for the franchise, however, I have been playing Civ 6 (although I'm not great at it, I enjoy it a lot). I started playing a game, but I feel like I'm just making shots in the dark, so I was hoping for some general advice (note that I'm playing on beginner): What are some good starter factions? What kind of fleets should I be building? As in, how many ships would be a good starting point? Obviously, I don'
