Sorry its actually V4.0.0.0

I had the game up until the mercenaries expansion, a friend gave me an iso file with the game and all dlc’s up till crusade i think. Game worked fine before, after installing the new one from buddy, no luck. It looks like it crashed as the game tries to launch. Also get a error msg from gcv3 box, saying “it looks like the game crashed” it sends the crash file auto to stardock and then also directs me to stardock online

I recently installed a newer version(V2.3) i got from a buddy, but it doesn't want to launch. It shows the logo screen, but as soon as it switches to load game, i get a box that says the game seems to have crashed. No error in debug file. Ive tried everything i could find on these forums. I play offline, no steam. Any new suggestions?
