I am using Windows 10 Pro, latest update to the creators edition, as well as the latest updated version of windowblinds. The problem I am having is that since the creators update none of the themes that come with the app will work on any of the Window Store apps. The title bar at the top of the apps does not show and hence you cannot close the app or move back from one window to another. At times the store app will freeze while opening requiring a complete reboot of the computer. These things

With Nasa's budget an average of 0.25 of 1% of the budget, even at the height of manned exploration (Apollo program) the returns have been immense. Computers, solar cells, handheld calculators, instant beverages, freeze dried food stuffs, and on and on. None of this would be possible without manned exploration. Sending out only robotic explorers yields is fine does not yield any advances except those that maybe benefit the next robotic mission. Only manned expl
You will really begin to appreciate Impulse if you ever have to reformat and reinstall your OS as I did a few months ago. After installation and connection to the internet I downloaded impulse, logged on, and presto there in one place was all my programs and games ready to reload. No hassle looking all over the place for serial numbers either! Impulse was a god send! :)
I am truly enjoying this thread of pros and cons concerning global warming because it brings back memories from over 35 years ago when another controversy was just as passionately discussed by people and the scientific community....only then it was global cooling we were headed for.
I have windows XP SP3 and tried the transformation pack. I heeded the advice by PCworld.com to create a restore point before installing the pack and I am glad I did. The transformation pack does not play well with windowblinds and the pack will also slow your pc down. I uninstalled it and restored my computer to the point before I installed it and all is well. My advice is to forego trying it out but if you do be sure to create that restore point!
creativity. Yes! Thank you Jafo!
Hmm... correct me if I am wrong. I too have "lurked around" wb since almost day one. I am very greatful for the many wonderful skins that have been made for the program. It seems to me that every time I see a new master skinner I do not lament it as a loss but rather rejoice in the fact that Stardock is one of the few avenues that allow those with talent to profit from their creatiness.
Just think...........If the Indians had given the Pilgrams a donkey instead of a turkey, we would all be having a piece of ass this Thanksgiving! [e digicons][/e]
Stargate Universe....yawn.....better off watching a Jetsons' rerun!
I use Zone Alarm Pro for my firewall and AVG 9.0 (paid) for my anti-virus. I also use the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware but because the free version does not provide real time protection I also use Iobits Security 360 free version which does provide real time protection in conjunction with your anti-virus program.
Amen Gmc2!
SGU can be summed up in two words. IT STINKS!
It could be a conflict with one of your add-ons.
I think that profanity is an "immature" language and should be banned altogether. If you feel the need to use it keep it to yourself.
As I understand it you have to be an Object Desktop subscriber to get the free gloss packs. I may be wrong about this. That said you can find the gloss packs in Impulse under your "My Software" heading.
I also get that on Halo_WB5 and it is 12.34PM Central Time here in the states.
A bigger concern should be why does Google record and store permanently all of your searches and movements you do on the site.
Fantastic! Thanks so much Corky!
I too dislike Symantec products. Bloated, use too much resources and just wait till you decide to remove them from your pc! Its like pulling teeth to remove all traces.
See the basic settings in WB. For any icons to be applied you must have the "Apply any icon packages supplied" box checked and you need to have Stardocks Icon Packager installed on your computer. As to the problem with Aol, as I do not use Aol, I can not help you there.
Hope I do this right but you should read Wizop Cork O's mini-tutorial on how to download and install things for Object Dock. It is great and helped me alot! Link
Wow, when I wrote my post I had just went to Firefox's web site and only RC3 was offered. I just now went to the site and it is true! 1.5 has been released! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Poste
To all, 1.5 has not been released. The latest is still a beta and is RC3. The official release version is still 1.07.
A clarification of what I meant by "getting WB5 to work". After installing the latest version of SDC I uninstalled WB5 through it and then downloaded and installed WB5.
