Looks slick, but any idea why I'm getting "ico" default icons all over the place, as seen in this screenshot:

Let me be the first to say: WOOT!
Maybe the original publishers backed out?... I'm wondering too - thought there were going to be at least a couple more games.
I think that the difficulty of skinning firefox is why it is taking so long for them to appear. I hope that is why. I just noticed the FireFox section myself, for what it's worth. Was there a front page announcement about the added section? Maybe the right people just haven't noticed/been notified that it's here?
As of yet, I'm the only Lotherius on the entire internet. There are a couple of reference to some Frankish noble over a thousand years ago by the name, and that's it. I came up with the name years ago, in an AD&D induced haze, for a character who was a Drow Elf born in an area very much like ancient Rome. Aelfwyne, my other common handle, is almost as rare. T
Oookay.... I found the ratings down at the BOTTOM of the screen by the comments field. I thought, for some reason that the stars were clickable... perhaps they should be. Or move the rating button closer to the top.
For some reason, I can no longer rate skins. I have Apprentice level, and am a current customer on the site. I was able to rate skins on both the old WC site, and the new one after I migrated my account. However, for the last two weeks (at least) I can no longer rate skins. When I mouse over the stars, it doesn't show up as linkable anymore. I normally use FireFox, but have also tried Internet Explorer, and the behaviour is the same. I've been
One Brad sells out... The other Brad better not!
I'd like to see a library for iSpin themes. iSpin is a launcher for PalmOS that by default makes it look exactly like WinXP, however it supports themes. Since there is a section for PocketBlinds (a StarDock product that does much the same for PocketPC), I think in the interest of completeness, an iSpin library would make sense. The product is here - http://www.taptarget.com/products/ispin.html An
The more I study history, the more I realize that we aren't quite as perfect as we thought. Everyone has a feeling that the world is getting better, and that things are better here and now than they ever were. In some cases, that might be true. In other cases though, it isn't. Are we freer than ever? We're definitely more free than a 19th century slave on a southern p
People pay money to feel good. They pay money for games, movies, leisure activities, comfortable chairs, etc... So what's different in accepting a job that pays you a little bit less in return for being able to look forward to going to work every day? It's like buying happiness - which is what people do all the time. It sounds like a great bargain to me.
Sounds like things are off to a good start! I can't wait for the first betas to roll out.
Amazing how similar the 2 screenshots are... Almost as if there were some intelligence behind the otherwise chaotic scheme of things... But, of course, everybody knows that Konfabulator is doing things never done before on Windows... even if it's doing the exact same thing that DesktopX already did.
Hmm, something REALLY needs done about those spambots.
Same here... subscribers only... Btw, I should be Level 3 on that site, but I am showing up as level 2 - if that's related. Not sure why, I've bought several things from Stardock including ODNT subscription.
It's not working for me. I'm a current ODNT subscriber, but the 2k5 beta site tells me it is only available for subscribers. For some reason, it is showing me as a level 2 on the site, even though I've purchased numerous products from Stardock, and am a current subscriber.
headache.... ow.... worse .. than... brainfreeze.... trying... to... make sense... of ... this.. thread....
Yeah, I was wondering how this is relevant to the topic - AMD Wins AGAIN... I was hoping to hear some new blow against Intel, that Windows was gonna ship without support for the Intel 64 bit clone or something.... This is all old news. New to some maybe, but still old news...
Now we just have to make sure that fame doesn't go to FrogBoy's head, and he starts posting anonymously and no longer shows up in the chatrooms because the peons might be there.
I think you must have been mistaken, and thought you were buying something else. ObjectDock+ delivers exactly what it promises, and I've had no such problems.
I love the new CNET site. Especially nice is how well the video window integrates into the site. Many sites treat video as external from the site - or give it an ugly box with no controls. This one is nice, and works perfectly in FireFox. Very slick.
I guess I just don't get it... That link seems to just be a flash intro to the site? I don't see any kind of themes or packs when I get there - just what looks like your typical art community site?...
The Right-Click menu is not saving any settings at all on my system. Even if I make changes, unload/load, it always comes back with the default configuration. Pretty much useless like this.
Works fine on dual monitor setup for me.
As far as I'm aware, it still doesn't work with the majority of TV-Cards that are available - even current products - which is the reason I passed on the older MCE.
