Why renew License in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I would like to know why do I need to pay for the most recent version of Object Desktop when I already paid for one that was working fine, I had to reinstall windows... The original installer is available for download, but it will pop up a screen requesting to pay for the updated version. Thanks, JC Castellanos
