I'd just like to clarify about "have me subscribing for life". While my kids (6 and 3 years old, respectively) will play games until they grow out of them, I plan to grow more childish as I get older. So kids/educational games will continue their appeal and Totalgaming will continue to generate revenue off of me until I am labelled (too) mentally incompetent and a danger to everyone on the Net. That is all -- please continue with your discussions.

If there were good quality kids games (especially for the younger ones under 10) and educational stuff TotalGaming would have me subscribing for life. There *is* a lot of bargain basement stuff that's great -- if it doesn't crash on newer hardware, OS revisions and changes in DirectX libs. I wouldn't mind an alternative to the Disney stuff ...
After about 33 years, I can't be bothered to watch. I couldn't afford season tickets before the lockout and now that I can, I'm still unconvinced that the game has improved enough that I should. What I absolutely hate: - rink is too small for today's players - commercial timeouts suck the life out the play - too many teams == talent is spread too thin None of the above will be willingly addressed by the NHL because they al
Have you taken a human life? No. Are you asking whether I'd keep my seemingly callous/bloodless attitude if my life or something I cherished were threatened? Or are you asking what I'd think if I had actually lost someone close due to the actions of someone like a terrorist?
Dresden is a good example of civilians targeted strictly for strategic purposes -- and not even for the war at hand but for the Cold War afterwards. Dresden was destroyed by the Allies late in WWII because: 1. It stopped Germany's resupply efforts as a major transport hub in the region. 2. It increased (in Churchill's words) "the terror" to th
Lesson 2. Remember looking good is much more important than having real substance, so smile, wear those designer clothes and be well spoken. Uh, haven't you just excluded all computer geeks and included all marketers?
there is a difference between killing civilians by accident while targeting terrorist, and targeting civilians on purpose. No civilized people make war on innocents only animals do that. Innocence and war are anthropomorphisms. Dresden is a good example of civilians targeted strictly for strategic p
I find that perspective really, really disturbing, sunwukong , no offense intended. None taken and I agree. I view warfare similar to how I view economics: both involve human beings at a population scale acting in their own self interests to produce large scale network effects. In the case of econom
There is a sincere difference here, though, in that Hamas seeks out the softest targets possible, whereas Israel only targets those who are responsible for attacks on them. If Hamas was hitting military targets and accidently catching civilians I might see your equation, but I'm not seeing it. It's certainly
I think your point is a tad facetitious. Hardly -- that an occupier's force requires protection and that a home-grown, popular resistance force doesn't isn't surprising. The point remains: those that oppose Hamas among the general Palestinian population aren't numerous or powerful enough to eject Hama
just so you know I do not do "yo admin" ban this or that person, I still got enough street in me from old days to not give someone up. I suspected that -- but the challenge wasn't to you anyways.
I will take you at your word.. MM Thank you.
I have much more respect for an out and out Jewhater, just let me know where you stand and I will proceed from there. Strawman in the making -- if I say, "I have absolutely no racial biases" would you accept it? This is set up be a damned in any case scenario. Nevertheless, I'll take the risk: As fa
I was making a statement of fact. I'll start you off with your original quote: No guilt doc, unlike the blacks in america I ain't about to reach back in time to find more stuff to
If the Palestinian people support Hamas and decide to allow bomb factories to function in their neighborhoods, are they really "innocent"? Alright, what about the Palestinians that don't support Hamas? Most likely they still have bomb factories in their neighbourhoods and can do little except inform. For th
You used one whack job to tar an entire people And you made a universal declaration that sought to falsely angelize an entire people. With respect to Goldstein, do you deny there was a very vocal minority that supported his actions and view him as a hero? Do you deny that this group regards Goldstei
What exactly does being banned mean anyway? Can't you just sign up again as a different user? Just wonderin. Yes, and she tried that. But the admin looks at the originating IP address, so unless you go with another ISP, they will see it is you and just delete the new account. Complete OT but I blanke
Ok -- I'm onboard 41029 w/ the research server. Be a few days before anything shows up, though.
I'd read the EULA first.

the above staement is my statement as a jew and how I feel, I never pointed at you in anyway, To you I apologize for calling you on the carpet for such a blanket statement -- it's easy to infer that you were pointing fingers by openly quoting Dr Guy's accusations. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" al
liberal causes are what is in vogue and it's always in vogue to hate jews. Again, mindless partisan bullshit . Please point out the so-called "hatred" involved in the previous posts.
Leave it to a supposed liberal to come up with something totally irrelevant and anti semetic. I call bullshit . Please point out the anti-semitism in the statements. In fact, please point out the liberal statements in the post as well. You made a universal statement <TABLE
the Last time the Jews slaughter a bunch of people was during King David? Baruch Goldstein in 1994 killed 29 and injured about 100 in the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. The positive thing to point out here is that only a small minority of Israelis supported his actions -- the government and the populace in general condemmed him as an immor
