I uploaded a new version of this mod now, because Stardock updated the file "MercenaryTierDefs", since I modded it. You should download again. I also created a version, that disables the bazaar completely: https://www.moddb.com/games/galactic-civilizations-iii/downloads/nobazaarmod This mod disables the bazaar completely (you cannot hire any

"All AI-controlled ships ignore the range limits the ships have. This was introduced in Crusade. It was claimed to be fixed in 3.02, but it just made it less bad." Yes, posted about this already myself. Tell me (and others) when this is fixed @Frogboy (is it already?), so that I can buy the new expansion packs (Intrigue and later). :P If people think that isn´t that important... Well, at least for me this is a single player game, and good,
[quote who="stykman22" reply="15" id="3704433"] Sorry if this is a dumb question, because I don't remember seeing this in other versions, but are the other civs supposed to be able to send more trade vessels than I have planets (and I have a lot)? I'm talking at least 50 vessels on a large map, and not that deep into the game. It's nice to get the extra credits from trade, but it REALLY slows the game down. All tier 1 mercenary ships aren´t hireable in the exploration phase (Age of Expansion) anymore. And this mod doesn´t do anything else. <span style="color: #ffffff; font-fami
[quote who="Old-Spider" reply="49" id="3702768"] I agree with this. I put in Ticket BKL-489-10361 about this in December with a save game showing freighters coming to my planets from the far side of the galaxy. My planets were on the opposite edge and my freighters couldn't go as far as the center of the galaxy. I have seen this all the time when I use the console to automate a game using AI or Soak. I thought it might be something to do with the AI and Soak co
Hi There is a bug with AI ship range. It seems to be unlimited. When I tested my custom civs (if my AI personality settings make them play like I want) with autoplay (console "ai") ships ignored their max range. I suspect it also happens in normal matches (freighter reaching you from seemingly anywhere). I haven´t tested/played with the console completely deactivated however.
