if you know this off the top of your head please please help - i dont' know what setting this is but whenever i mouse over a window it switches to the window. it used to switch *only* when i clicked on the other window. now when i move my mouse over to another window it brings that window into focus thus hiding the window i am usually working with. i dont know how to change this setting or how it became this way to begin with. but if you know i could use your help. thanks, booga1138 <B
yes. the reason is that i've been curious about linux - to dual boot with linux and windows linux needs to use the first 100mb. i am going to a lug meeting later today to get linux installed. so i created that drive, installed windows on drive d:. i also get another error when applying a theme in winstyles itself. "WinStyles.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created." i *dont* get an err
When I try to apply a WinStyles theme I get an error that says: "An error occurred while Windows was working with the Control Panel file D:\WINNT\system32\desk.cpl." message box then only an ok button. This is what I do: 1. Properties > WinStyles > Available Themes Frame > Click on any available theme. i think there is something wrong with the update button. it wouldn't accept my serial number either. at first i copied and pasted in the customer order number which is wrong. then i copied in the s/n and pressed update. which gave me error message. i forgot what the message was. i closed it and tried it again and this time i *didnt* press the update button. i just clicked ok. it accepted it without any messages and then i double clicked the registration info and it had a date showing when it wou
