I ended up disabling the Yor in my suicidal games for the time being, just because I had the same experience. Very early on, they would just wipe out everyone. 9 AIs versus the Yor, and the Yor were unphased. There are definitely some balancing problems with them. I tend to play the same settings as you, so the early rush to Malevolence III isn't that feasible. I don't like micromanaging a huge number of planets and get bogged down by the large maps, let

Yes, I don't get the scoring at all either. There are people in the top who haven't played anything except beginner games and have thousands of points per game.
Yep, that's what's going on. Managed to find myself. Phew.
Actually, I am beginning to think that the search is just broken. Can anyone from SD confirm this?
Seriously, does anyone know what the deal is with this? I just finished another game, and I am still not in the metaverse--at least a search cannot find me. Getting a little annoyed by it now.
I was there yesterday, at roughly position 800ish. Today, I can't be found. Any ideas why?
I pretty much agree with everything you mentioned UI-wise. Good suggestions.

Like if your faction has 60% of the total influence and the opponent has 40% of the total influence then with each turn you have a 60% chance that the population will start a rebellion, but only with a 60% chance of succeeding, because 40% of the population is hypothetically still loyal to the opponent. After either the rebellion succeeded or failed there's
I've been an avid fan since GalCiv1, and I'm loving the game in its current state even with some of its present quirks. I absolutely do not agree with the sentiment that 'the customer is always right.' I've worked in positions where people feel that because they paid $10 for a movie theater ticket or some such, they are entitled to abuse you. Seriously. It's kind of crazy. I do get frustrated with the gaming industry overall, because I do
Personally, I'm waiting for this feature before I really even play the game. I know it seems nitpicky, but I can't stand not having the edge scrolling. Clicking and dragging wasn't working well for me because half the time I had a ship or something selected and it would think I was trying to move it. I don't like using the arrow keys because that requires me constantly taking my hand off the mouse and moving it to the arrow keys then back again. I reall
