don't think it does, but it does while you are picking the upgrade, and I think you can cancle out of it if you find you don't want to do an upgrade. If I remember correctly GCI would at least move the map to the starbase along with the mini-map so that you could figure out which starbase was being talked about, though it may have waited untill after you said yes, but then you could cancle so it was all good.
I can't wait for the expantion. but I have a small suggestion. ADD MULTIPLAYER. Though I know that this would be difficult because diplomat advantages won't work on a human player, but you guys (and gals) are smart. (thats why you made such a great game). Multiplayer could come in many forms. Hotseat for if a friend comes over (so few multiplayer games when you and friend are at same place) you could play for just a little while and then save. I seem to have found a bug, or mabey I am doing something wrong. I quit the UP so that I wouldn't have to put up with a starbace limiting rule, and some others that made me mad. Anyway I found that for some reason, even after I had left the UP I was still bound by their laws. Is this a bug or is there something else I have to do to not fallow the stupid laws. This makes me very mad because 1 was limiting starbases and I own 6 class 25-39 planets and it wount let me upgrade my starbase to make th

I would like to see multiplayer. Yes, AI players are deacent, but they are still only AI, thus multiplayer would be cool. People say that that would take too long but, if people are willing to spend the time it would be a great change from AI (can anyone say summer break?). Also it would be cool for there to be more info on the minor races.
