Would love to read this as I am a new player who is very confused with 4x and this game in general.

I'm having an issue when you start the game the text is in top left corner rather than the "story" box. Minor thing but thought I should report it :)

I am new to 4x games and I'm really struggling in this game. I have read some guides and watched videos but I still don't really understand the best way to start the game. Lots of conflicting information about the "wheel" and going %100 research at start of game and spamming ships. Map size ?? What to build on planets first. Any advice for a overwhelmed player.
