I am not bitching about the free ice cream here but... Folks I have to ask : Is JU dying the death of a thousand cuts? Or the death of 12 blog posts a day perhaps? I posted <a title="

[quote]And I thought hmm... I hope so. It was sent to me over the unclassified network.[/quote] Unfortunately even without the drop=down box to confuse users there are tons of classified materials sent over NIPR every day. Good to see you too Tal... If you ever get the urge to find work in Az let me know... We have a whole office full of nerds here so you would blend right in.
Well I can tell you what happened here and HW will probably agree with the key points: (bullet points for bonus Army-ness) o The promotion system radically changed in the early 90's (maybe another article there) <span style="font-size: medium; font-family: times new
My picks would be a bit different: [link="http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/"]Dwarf Fortress[/link] [link="http://www.adom.de/"]ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery)[/link] [link="http://ivan.sourceforge.net/"]IVAN (Iter Vehemens Ad Necem)[/link] [link="http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page"]Fallout[/link] [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasteland_(computer_game)"]Wasteland[/link] Gameplay > Graphics
Hope you like it here at JU.
This really won't hide anything from anyone who would be looking for it. It certainly won't keep people out of your person business. Take Zubaz advice and actually encrypt your drive if you actually want security.
I agree. War without KBR and company would suck massive balls.
Was there a picture with this? Maybe I just can't see it from work.
I certainly missed having a dog for all those years in the Army. Having one nwo is a ton of work but worth every bit. Glad to see you still blogging:) Say hi to HW when you talk to him next.
Q: When does adding secuirty policies make you less secure? A: When you forget that there are these things called "users". If you were to send an email from a government computer and it included a drop down menu (in which you *must* choose an option to send email) that had 2 choices: UNCLASSIFIED and SECRET Would you assume that the system you were on was au
Sounds like fun. I will have to carve out some time away from Dwarf Fortress to start fiddling with this once the beta starts.
The core mission of any Army is to have it's soldiers kill people and break things. That is what Armies do best. the farther you stray from those core competencies the worse off the fighting force becomes. I have posted about <span style="font-size: medium; font-famil
Glad to see you both again:)
A nice definable enemy with easily spotted equipment and easily intercepted comms. Those were the days my friend.
If you are one of the multitude of folks out there who think that somehow you will "get Mr. Exxon" with a magical tax on oil profits let me disabuse you of the notion. Such a tax would only hurt you the consumer and the economy at large. Firstly, costs are <a title="Wiki: fungible" href="http:
I would really like an option to display the text names of Bloggers under their icons. Some folks here don't stick with one icon and hovering over 10 icons one at a time to read a list doesn't really seem like a great idea to me. I love the icons, but putting the text name under them just seems to make sense to me.
ID.net by a country mile.
Synch, not "sink" Gene. In an article this short you should probably get all the words spelled correctly. As far as the need for Congressional authorization for any war. I am in agreement, I think most people are.
Tom-Tom is a navigation system for a vehicle that ties into GPS. GPS's proper are a pretty wide range of devices with different capabilities. I have a nice little hand held Garmin that my wife bought me a couple of years back. Still works too.
But...long hair, no suit, tennis shoes, wrinkled clothes.... Besides long hair none of that applied here. So....? Given your friends example as well even if he did come to the interview that way and they hired someone else they lose out... so the point of appearance as a hiring standards would be what? To
Ooh libel... even your threat work is weak sauce. Go back and campaign some more for Ron Paul. Everything in the article is a quote with linakge. Go fuck yourself Francis R. Troofer lad..
Phoenix, eh? I might be in the market in 4 years. Scottsdale in particular seems to be in an IT and Engineering boom right now.
Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): • FOX and the Washington Times reported that there was a possible terror threat
so gene there goes another one of your truths. It doesn't pay to argue with Gene. God Himself could correct him wih proof before his eyes and he wouldn't care. The only reason I gave him even one comment on his blog recently was that he gave me one on mine. I felt I owed it to him. Other than that it doesn't even pay to read his articles. Don't feed the trolls and your blood pressure will lower.
we don't know how Actually most security professionals don't get it right a good chunk of the time either. Most of us only find out where we goofed after an attempted access that hopefully gets stopped by another security layer lower in the stack. It is amazingly hard to make anything secure and still have it be useful in any real way.
