Yeah I My Carrier designed ships I have to make sure they have high value (almos a given) but make sure they're support ships. And make sure you have assault ships in the composition as well as escorts. Wether you have a capital ship or not is optional IMHO, but it also helps. I haven't had any issues, up to even turn 1000 on insane maps (except the one in trade diplomacy) but the ai seems ok, I only have 16gb in RAM as well, but my processor is although not a high performance one, fairly new i7 4790 cpu @360Ghz, and by turn 300 I usually have over one thousand ships and >300 starbases but only once over 300 planets. Hi, It has happened on every insane game I've had since 1.1. I have tried and the only work around I found is with the command console, forcing some trades as giving someone a tech etc. But it's cumbersome to say the least. also, I Can't find a way to give starbases or planets to other races. I have submitted a ticket sometime ago, and I know at least two other players that have as well, they mentioned here on the forum. So I'm sure they are working on solving

Haven't been able to reproduce this issue, running insane maps and watching netflix on the second monitor (or having it paused) my Card is a GTX745 OEM, and I only have 16gb RAM. Have you tried the troubleshooting? I had a lot of graphics issues solved by reinstalling the nvididia drivers on clean install as suggested there.

I'll try to reproduce using netflix, but I've had no problems running the game on one monitor and videos on firefox on another, also nvdia card. Edit: So far 1 episode of the 100 (pretty cool show, glad I rediscovered I had netflix account) no problems except wony sound every now and then. How common is it. does it hapen everytime?

The Virtual Keyboard didn't work either, I had the option but still in portuguese, I had enabled the debug windows previously, and nothing worked. However your last suggestion worked like a charm. the key is without the <> (apostrophe only) if I enable cheat in launch options. Thank you so much! Dan

Anyone know how to open the command console in the portuguese keyboard? My windows 10 single language doens't give me the ability to change keyboard especifications. Tilde doesn't work for me, and I'm having a hard time trading due to the diplomacy trade screen issue (can only give credits), I wanted to see if I could force give some planets to my adversaries... I've had trouble using the support ticket on the "edge" from windows 10, but all otherwise it worked fine on other browsers ticket submissions. I doubt it's the problem, but thought worth mentioning. The opt in worked for my CTD crashes, but I Had to go to the troubleshooting all over again, inlcuding erasing all evidence of the game previously installed, and reintalling fully. and doing a reinstall (clean) of the nvidia drivers. I've Had this since 1.1, first with altarians, than on 1.2 several times usuallly with the drengin. This Currently is happening (I'm playing insane size galaxy) with every single one of my adversaries. including the 8 minors left. So it's not a question of overloading of info it's something else. I've submitted a ticket a couple of weeks ago. I can resubmit but the ticket has been closed at the moment, so I'd imagine you're looking at it
