Just to clarify: Only games currently available through TG.net will be available for token purchases in the future? If this is the case, and those individuals with tokens remaining can't find anything they wish to purchase, what options remain for disposal of remaining tokens?

Aveyond demo trojan false alarm? in Multiplayer Organizer Stardock Forums

I decided to install the aveyond demo with an eye towards possibly using up some tokens later. However, AVG complained about the demo having a trojan. Specifically Trojan.horse Downloader.Agent.RKA Should I be concerned, or is this a known false alarm?

The downside to buying it here, however, is that the publisher has just announced a collector's edition, with SOTS and BOB, plus extra goodies like a soundtrack/art/etc CD and a novel. For $30... And there's no way to just buy the extras. Unless the expansion's a single token here, it looks far, far better for newcomers to buy the collectors edition... Not a good situation to be put in, eh, Yarlen?

Bah! If I hadn't already bought the game from GamersGate when it released, I'd be all over this. On another note, will I be able to buy the next expansion (AMOC) through TGN, or will I need to get it from gamersgate still?

Here's one more voice in the choir praising Stardock. Take as long as you need on TA before "release." It's already a lot of fun, and if Brad can make it that much better, it would be a crime against gamers to not give him that chance.

It's a bit annoying when this kind of thing happens. I just had a Jagged blade event in a Drath game I'm playing. On the plus side, I paid everyone else off to war with each other, and went around gobbling up undefended Jagged Blade worlds... going to come out of this one greatly boosted. Though I can't do a tech victory now due to the previously mentioned ascendancy of the Blade.

The Drath are a slow start, but once they get going... War profiteering is WAY overpowered. I'm currently running a full huge map... I can buy a civ into war for about 1500bc. I'm making about 1700bc/turn from war profiteering. And about 500 from taxes, keeping morale at 90+percent.

So, I just got a new laptop. A cheap one (which is still a nice machine). Basic specs: 1GB ram, Athlon 64 x2 processor (1.7GHz), Radeon Xpress 1150, Vista Home Premium ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-detailsInactive.asp?EdpNo=3402791 ) This is primarily a work system for my dissertation, but I need to take breaks in between reading dozens of papers... Count me in for January. I'd rather see reviewers amazed with everything there, leading to more sales, than have the finished game earlier. You'll miss the christmas sales, true, but may be better off in the long run.

I'm sorry, but this will be a brief post for now. I got a new laptop yesterday, and decided to install a few of the smaller TG.net games to pass some time. One of the games is a personal favorite of mine, the Corporate Machine. Unfortunately, the laptop has Vista Home Premium and dislikes TCM.
