Problem is the one size fits all of parameters, and the potency of some depends quite much of the size of the map you play.

Back to adjacency bonus, I had also a thought about it. Why not remove the bonus level given by all basics, non colony unique buildings (the +1 industry adjacency bonus of a factory) but doubling the ones given by rare buildings? Say a duranthium factory gives 10 levels (+10%), so all adjacent factories get this amount, but no 'standard' factory gives adjacency? Just a thought, but I'm glad anyway if you consider that some uniques (and the special tiles) can give a bit more. Right
I confess I have pressed half a dozen time the govern button, just to see how the AI works with that or for captured backward planets. Do I enter the stats as 'don't use the wheel'? Because I used it for 95% of my others planets. Now, I have no problem with not using the wheel, because planetary focus gives +25%, so that's good enough for me, even if having a fledgling colony having points in research is always a bit irritating. It's just that I wonder if the % of

Hi, I'm trying your mod and while I applaud the efforts, some features leave me thoughtful. That the adjacency bonus is down to 1% / level is effectively killing this gameplay feature that I believe is nice. Perhaps it was done to help the AI in 1.3, but 1.4 AI is better at specializing planets and really, removing the feature is removing fun. There are missing tooltips, even for basics like military subsidies tooltip. SB range is 10 but exclus

Hi, In 1.4 opt in, each time I try to reload a game based on the first human scenario (from the campaign), the game is stuck endlessly. I don't get this issue with random maps or revenge of the Snathi. I tried twice, 2 new games and they can't be reloaded. Can someone try a quick test, launch the scenario, save, reload? Does it works?
Actually I play Ironman most of my games, Gal Civ 3 included. I admit I'm a sinner. I'm given a toy granting a free tech. It's difficult to not switch from a tech I'll finish within a few turns to a tech that would needs 30+ to complete. People who were never tempted to switch to another tech before moving onto an artifact are probably less frequents that you might think, erischild. There is no blame on me or on stardock. But I would prefer to not have th
Something that is not very good, micro-management wide, is that some artifacts in space can give a complete tech. It means that optimally, before you move onto one, you have to switch to an expensive, not researched tech, step onto the artifact and see if you get it, if not you revert to previous research. So I would suggest instead that such artifacts gives a fixed amount of research points, based only on the turn number (because if a % of your research points, you are back to tweaki
