Having a UP event doesn't count at "meeting" them? So then once you get that first message from other races such as "Hail, (insert race here) greetings blah blah blah" would be the first encounter then?
So I've had no problems with the game since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. However, recently when I've made new games races have just been up an vanishing leaving me to sole race in the galaxy. Not much fun to play by yourself. I've noticed that it usually happens after a UP event or at least I think it does. I'll go into the relations tab and I'll be the only race in there. Is this a normal facet of the game? Did I box the other races out of the game somehow? Mind you
