Alt + tab, close the notification app or set windows not to notify you of anything. This game runs in fullscreen windowed mode. So alt+tab isn't really necessary either. The operating system is going to have priority over a game in windowed mode every-time.

+1 This would be good for multiplayer when you have to wait for slow people.
