Just an update, I decided to boot up Windows 8.1 (was running Windows 10) and install GalCiv3. All of the above issues disappeared and I've put in about 40 hours since, so I'm not sure if in my case it was Windows 10 purely or perhaps a driver issue. Perhaps play around with different versions of Graphics drivers?

I can also confirm that this is happening to me. Because of it I'm not playing the game and being patient until something fixes it. Not the fastest rig around... but certainly not slow. Intel i7-3930k 32GB Ram nVidia 690GTX Samsung Evo Pro SSD I am running Windows 10 though.... so I appreciate if there's no support given. Haven't tried it on 8.1. I am using the latest WHQL GeForce drivers. No other game currently has this issu
