Game goes black and crashes when new game is started in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

So, I bought the game the 14th, a few hours before release. The game starts normally, (if a bit slow), and the main menu is normal. Once a new game is started, sometimes the map loads, and after a few seconds the monitor goes black. I have two monitors, both go black, but the other one gets the normal background back after a second or so, while the game monitor stays black, with only the mouse visible.
