Branching out of Commerce Specialization in the Krynn tech tree, there are three options: Xeno Economics, Interstellar Trade, and Celestial Tourism. For my game right now, Xeno Economics will take 6 turns, Interstellar Trade will take 5 turns, and Celestial Tourism will take 21 turns . Is this intentional or a bug?

That sounds right. I remember playing another game where ranger and destroyer were both completely redundant large hull missile ships. stardock pls Thanks, I'll look into Steam cloud sync.
I'm playing Thalan right now. I've unlocked medium hulls and all of the basic weapon and defense types. However, I only see the kinetic medium ship (Charge), the beam medium ship (Trust), and the all-type medium ship (Obligation). I don't see a medium missile ship. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Also, what's with the ship order? It starts with tiny ships, then goes to scouts, then medium ships, then colony/trade/transport, then small ships, then some prototyp
I can build multiple of some of the "colony-unique" improvements after they upgrade. For example, in the screenshot below, I can build another planetary defense and food distribution improvement because the ones I already built have upgraded. It happens consistently with those two improvements across all of my planets.
General gameplay While I had more temporary lock-ups and lags, I had way fewer desktop crashes and complete game freezes than before. Sound cuts out later in the game, this has been happening for a few updates now Game will sometimes not resolve a pop-up/battle before going to another one, leading to a game lock
Any time I switch screens (e.g. map to battle viewer, to designer, to ship detail view), there's a chance the game will crash. The only screens that I have not seen crash the game are diplomacy or United Planets.
Just got this bug as Iridium on medium map. Don't know if it matters but the constructor was granted from the pragmatic ideology trait. If I click around where the menus normally are, I can hear things being clicked, but I don't know what I'm clicking on. I can't continue, will have to abandon game.
3. Click on the Roman numeral 3 in the upper left corner 4. Yes, under commands in the ship section when you select a ship. Similarly, survey ships can be set to automatically survey anomalies.
Just finished a ~400 turn game. This game is getting super-addicting. I did it with a custom race, and putting one together was pretty easy and fun. I wanted to chase a tech/ascension victory but ended up winning by conquest. I really started playing with patch 5.2, and coming from other 4x games, the learning curve is pretty good in my opinion. I can't wait for some of the newer features, like planetary governors and the fully unlocked tech tree. if you're reading this, thanks Gal Ci
I'm in a game where if I go to the notifications tab,it says there are 2 foreign ships in my territory. If I double-click on the notification, the map snaps to a specific patch of fog of war; double-clicking again goes to a different patch of fog of war. I'm guessing the game is showing me the exact location of enemy ships. Is this intentional?
This might go into that "super-user" category spoken of on the dev stream, but would it be possible to allow the player to set their own default governing slider values? It's one of the first things I change for every new game started.
