Agreed, any time you can minimize micromanagement the better. Basically we should always ask, would the "leader" of an entire planet be involved? For initial starbase construction sure, but not after that. Just let players set it to economic, research, or whatever and be done with it. Why should i (ruler of a galactic empire) have to order people to build each module... here's a shield, here's a defensive battery... Don't I have a damn secretary of starbases for that?

I think I'm getting memory crashes, the private working set is 4,821,264 K but the memory is only 59% full. I'm guessing I've hit the limits of the engine? I am playing an insane size galaxy with 4-5 major civilizations and abundant minor civilizations. I have it saving every 10 turns so it crashes on 204th turn. Most of the galaxy isn't habitable but i mainly just wanted large distances to seperate the civilizations. Could you add more galaxy seeding options, for example I wa
