I completely misread what I was looking at. I thought it said mining when it said military. When I got a mining rig in place I was good to go. Thank you for your response.

I have been messing around with the beta for several hours and I can't seem to figure out how to properly mine. I have built starbases with mining rigs, but I can't seem to make them mine the local resource. Another race will come near me, and build a starbase and claim the mine. I have the interstellar mining tech. What am I missing? Thank you for any help

I just watched the Gamespot interview and immediately purchased the game based on the ship designer alone. I've had an itch for Robotech/Macross recently but there hasn't been a game released in a while and I'm hoping that someone creates some good ships for it (I'd try by I stink at art in general). I did some quick searching and I couldn't find anything about how to import/export ships (honestly didn't look too long though).
