So in the new patch 1.1 there are no starter cubes in the ship designer. this forces players to use existing ships and makes it very difficult to make ships from scratch. Will this be fixed or is this as intended?

Hi all! I was hoping that someone would be able to answer a question for me. Currently the battle viewer has a zoom that prevents me from enjoying the top down view. It fails to keep the battle on screen. half the time you cant see any ships. Is there a way to set the zoom level back to the level it was in beta 5 or will i need to wait for a mod?
