Just a quick question, is there any way to mod or use the command console to add/edit planet tile features, such as ' AncientRuins' or ' PreciousMetals' , for example?

This may already be known, but here goes. When the snathi are used in a MP game and attack and enemy ship, their scavenge ability can result in different outcomes for all of the different players. That is, I as an observer could see my friend playing snathi gain no ships from an attack, but on his end he might have gained a scout. Or vice versa, he may on his end get nothing, but on my end it will show he got an attack ship. This quickly results in a CTD for either t

Best advice i can give you is don't have more than one part attached to a foundation block or they won't save, don't use any mirroring, etc. And hope everything saves. I never get more than one "save as part" without restarting the game.
Definitely having this issue, mainly the UI sound effects is what i've noticed.
I don't know if this qualifies as a bug persay, it's a bit of a grey area. But i'm posting because i lost about 6 hours of work (yes i know...) on a ship design because of this. I'm pretty sure it's been well covered since beta, but here goes. If you create a ship template and save it, and then exit the game without saving the game, your template is completely lost for that game. While the template is saved, and presumably available for the
Pretty much as the title says, i've tried several times in several games to save a collection of parts as a new part, always with the same result: Only the first part in the collection is saved as a new part. Any subsequent attempts to save as a new part fail completely unless the game is restarted.
